Certainly seems like I appreciate, or at least understand, the freedoms the USA offers far more than you - you may want to check on the very premises the USA is founded upon, one of which gives me the right to disagree with the current government's policies, and to verbalize this disagreement.
You, sadly, appear to be the de facto illustration of the 'ugly American', with the typical "You can say what you want, as long as I agree with it" attitude. The Bill of Rights and the US Constitution protect free speech, but specifically unpopular free speech.

Yes, we allow free speech in the US. No one is denying that you have right to say whatever you want and make an ass of yourself if you so desire. However, we also have a right of free speech in return to criticize (more z’s for Mel) what you say, and to even ask that you cease making those statements (on the grounds that they are ridiculous, not because you don’t have a right to say them).
So please stop using the "Ugly American" catchall in a feeble attempt to stifle the right of our free speech to comment on your childish rants.
The hypocrisy of your diatribe about freedom of speech is amazing, if it were not so pathetic.

I normally have the duckhead on ignore. Somebody pointed this post out to me as I usually don't read his tripe.
I just thought it interesting that he admitted to being a "foreigner" and I wanted to make it a matter of record.
He seems to be just another delusioned "foreigner" reaping the benefits of the US.
I am placing him back on ignore and suggest anybody follow suit that is sick of him. Seems to be quite a few of our members in that boat.

Every dictionary that I have seen lists realize as the US English spelling, and realise as the British English spelling. Microsoft Word, when set to US English, does not accept realise as a valid spelling. Same for the other words with z or s in them.
Yes, there are various versions of English. just as there is France French and Canadian French, which have some differences between them. If you go to Microsoft Windows XP Regional and Language Options, there are 13 different versions of English listed.
