i agree with ABC's comment about 'just because you treat them like a lady,why should you pay them less'.
i treat them all like ladies when i'm with them,wether it's for 20 hours or 1/2 hour.
they deserve respect and i give it to them.
i never need to haggle,they know what i will pay.

Here where I differ with you, according to what the average Thai makes the girls are being paid very well at the 500 to 1000 level. Western guys want to bring to Thailand western level of payment. Of coure the girls would like the so called standard to be whatever the traffic will bare. I have no problem with guys paying more (up to them). I do have a problem with guys getting freebies from the girls as I know that most of them are lieing to the girls about a future together and I have a problem with guys paying less then I do(200 L/T) and cheating the girls.
If I want to take a women out and not get physical I can do that back in Philly and save myself the long plane ride .
My goal in the pay for play, how much thread is to tell the NEWBIE there a wide range that the members on this forum are paying the girls. As the girls will tell you, up to you if you want to pay on the high end or low end.

Let me start by again saying that I agree with your statements about the freebies and paying less then 200 l/t. ÝBut .... another member has pointed out to me that the ones that do pay around 200 l/t are not the kinda of people that like quality, but merely want a hole to stick something in. As for the pay to play attitude. I have nothing against it, but it just seems me that you balance paying low by justifying that you treat them well and their wages are low. If it's that low, then why bargin?? 500-1000 baht a day is not much. that is roughly $25 U.S per day. A McDonalds worker makes more then that.
You can say, well then they don't have to go with me. On the contrary, I think they do. It's money. Bottom line. I believe that most ... and not all, would rather have some money then no money. And if you treat them right, then they will compromise on making more the be with a gentleman. But ... that still does not make it right to try and low ball them and take advantage of them. Why make them compromise. You work hard for your money and so do they. Why not treat them like a lady and pay a standard rate. This is how they make a living. If you give more, they ... "might" not have to work the next day. You never know??
You pay 500 l/t and i pay 1,000. That is double what the lady should be making if she went with another member instead of you or anyone else that only pays 500 baht.
Bottom line:
I'm not here to bust Ýyour chops or make you change. ÝIt's so any other newbie can read our discussion and make up their own mind on which side of the fence they sit on.
We do dissagree on the haggling part and money. But .. I think the key is that you treat them like a lady. If treated them like crud, then I'd think you'd take more heat for that.
Good luck and again, I would really like to see the quality and beauty you are able to score with for a first time 500 baht payment.

this is true, however, have you checked out the rates in the USA for these type of service.. US$150 plus for an hour .. and usually a short hour and not very pleasurable... that comes out to about US$300K a year .. a bit over the average income in the USA ..
I prepare taxes for part of the year (and f_ck around in Thailand the rest) .. I have had clients who were working girls .. either call girls or working in clubs in SF .. Most of these girls are making over US$100K.. of course they don't declare it all (one seems to, she is afraid of getting Al Caponed) .. again much more than the average American .. the gals in the strip clubs don't even provide sex, the best you might get is pants full of cum due to a lap dance. .
I have become somewhat friendly with some US based hookers over the years and found that they will take less from someone they like, however, they will not go lower than a certain amount .. also, as some of them mentioned, many of the guys that they go with are disgusting .. think about it, you may be respectful, but you might not be anywhere near what a specific hooker would have sex with for free (for example in Thailand you are not Thai and most Thai girls prefer Thai guys for romance) .. When I go shopping for a car, I treat the salesman with respect (often harder to do than with a Thai BG), but that does not mean that I overpay... I also realize that at some point I am not going to save enough on the car to justify going to any more dealers .. same as shopping for pussy.. if you have missed on B500 for a couple of hours, you just might finally accept B700 for the desirable model ..
