Big D has some good points about pricing. I like to talk to a girl some, if i can hear over the god awful disco shit that is palmed off as music. If the girl is great, I mean like a LA 10, great and inventive in bed, speaks some English, isn't hurry hurry up, and watching her watch, I'll give her a thousand baht. I don't care. In LA it's a third of what I'll pay for a massage parlor girl. I save all year to come to LOS and if I help the girl and overpay a little I truly don't care. It's only annoying when she demands payment up front, then is boring in the sack, or gets arguementative afterwards that bum me out. In 2000 I pal ed up with a Brit at the Grace and took three girls to the Raumchitt at about 4:30 AM. I drunkenly negotiated 1500 for the three, and they agreed. After some messy screwing around, one demanded 1500 each. I ended up tossing her purse down the hall, after which she ran, only to turn and toss a beer bottle, nailing me square on the foot. Blood was everywhere and I coulnd't f in believe it. I was scared shitless of yet another Tourist Police scene so I told her just to get the f_ck out. I know this is an anomoly, but I smilingly try to NOT to discuss money till the deed is done. I personally will stall on the payment part, following the que of the girl, dress when she does,(unless I'm in a hurry to get back to the action, and not pay until I or she is at the door. I'll usually set the money on the table next to the door, or tuck in next to her purse, and nod towards it as we are leaving. If the girl says something like "I always get 2000 baht, or "what about my sick waterbuffalo", I found that what works best with me is to chuckle and say something like "Thai girl always gets 1000, or two thousand for two week boom boom, oK". Any way street girls at 4AM yeah 500 ok, but usually I send um off with a thousand, and at least when they see me later, they smile, no look away.

I just want to raise a related issue and it is not directed at anyone specifically: what you have spent on dining and dancing for the evening should not be counted towards how much you pay the BG. Ý
Here's an analogy, after a full day's work the boss took the employee out to an expensive and fancy dinner. ÝWhen it came to paying the employee, the boss gave the employee a half day's wage because the boss felt that he had already spent more than a day's wage on dinner for the employee. ÝIs this right? ÝIMO, no, it is not right. ÝThe employee is working for the full day's pay, not a fancy dinner and a half day's pay. ÝThe employee could use the full day's pay to pay bills, but she cannot do that with a doggie bag from the fancy restaurant.
We have to remember that when we take a BG out to dinner, dancing, movie, or whatever, we are doing it for ourselves (more likely for our ego), the money spent for entertaining is really spent on ourselves so we could be seen with a hottie in public. ÝTo think otherwise would be fooling yourself.

I tend to agree that I like to be seen with arm candy, 56 y/o grandpaw has a ego too. But here the rub, when I take a b/g for a l/t and take her out on a date with dinner, quiet bar, dancing etc. I'm looking not at a one night stand but a possible regular girl that I will b/f on future trips to LOS. I have a few girls that I see everytime I come back. I come back 3 to 5 times a year so I take the long view. If it doesn't work out what have I lost, nothing, I've showed a girl a nice time usally I will get a great GFE. When it does work out the girls are happy to see me and go out for round two willingly. I've had falang bar owners and their mamasan wife tell me, all the girls like you because you treat (insert name here) well. Cmore has said, the giirls talk amoung themselfes and the girl who goes out on dates and is treated well by her falang customer gains a great deal of face with her co-workers. This is my style with women and it works for me. Your mileage may vary.
