Sorry missed that film. I am not a movie buff. I am actually too busy to go to the movies and I find most to be pure drivel. I catch up on films when I am flying Intl or when I am on holiday in a place like BKK and the young lady I am with may wish to go to the cinema.
Your comment about your posting being a joke is pure drivel too. In every joke there is a kernel of truth. You are using the joke mechanism as a method to remove yourself from accepting responsibility for the caustic remarks that you have made.
Please don't insult the audience by simply stating "I was just kidding around guys". That is, as your screen idol Eminiem would say, " A bitch ass move" to excuse yourself.

It's hard to argue with the old idea that even paying attention to someone who's intentionally trying to annoy is foolish and self-defeating so in that I can agree with Smegma.
But in fact, JJ is right (IMO). This guy seems a bit passive aggressive  and he'd be happy if people would take his posts as gospel but just tosses out "I'm joking" whenever he gets called on his BS. I differ from Smeg on this point; that doesn't strike me as requiring being particularly smart. And as JJ suggests, I'm not sure he's fooling anyone.
Whether he's just being a troll or he actually wants people to believe him, it's a bit of a pity really because he could probably be an interesting contributor to the board.

Okay...to clear it up. ðThere is one point in all the junk I was throwing. I was being sarcastic to bring attention to the position that sponsorship is IMHO foolish.
That is "In My Humble Opinion" only. ðIf I had made a watered down post like this one here, and just said you guys are wasting your money, it would not have drawn this much attention to the TOPIC. ð(I make a distinction between SPENDING money and WASTING it). Unfortunately, everyone seemed to focus on the writer, not the real issue, which is that these girls often/usually/ quite a bit/whatever quantifier you want to place on it, deceive these guys who are on here asking questions about this exact topic. ð(No news flash there)
I did NOT claim the following:
1) That I am telling people things they do not know (But guys still throw their money away and come here asking how to tell if their TG is lying).
2) That Eminem is my idol. (It was just a movie folks).
3) That I know anything more than everyone about BKK.
If some of you guys cannot read between the lines on my silly posts, I pity what a Thai Bar girl does to you in reality...because she is much more shrewd than what I can ever write on here. ðIf a guy gets hurt by what I say here, which is just text on a computer, man, Thailand will have fun with you.

(I quit the bar/I am not having sex except with you when you come here every three months/I am saving the money and not giving it to my family or friends/I am going to school/I do not have a Thai or farang boyfriend, /blah, blah,blah)
HELL YES! ðI would say 8-9 of 10 lie (WARNING...that was an opinion only). So, it is very appropriate to generalize to the population in question. But I TRUELY hope your girlfriend is the 1-2 who is honest and actually did stop her career as a prostitute.
I have already said I am new to this board, but not to Thailand itself. I will continue to explore the forum and have more fun. ðBut guys, do yourself a favor and focus on the topic.....as it is a waste of time to focus on the writer. That is not at all productive and I guarantee there is nothing that can be printed on this forum that would have any impact on me...and my words should not have any impact on you either. ðNone of this is rocket science. You should be more pissed that these girls do these things than just some guy on a computer who writes about it.

Why do you suppose people focused on the writer? Have you seen that happen on other threads? Do you think this board would be at all popular if that WAS typical? Could it be, as several people said, that it was the form of the message that caused an adverse reaction to the messenger? And as for "reading between the lines" are we supposed to do that but ignore what's IN the lines? Why not just say it straight out. Maybe we aren't geniuses like you and we assume that what people say is what they mean (on an anonymous forum). You yourself say it's not news so why the need for, as you say, sarcasm intended to bring attention to the topic? Do you feel the topic has been ignored and you are doing people some sort of service?
I don't remember every post but who has really disagreed with the point made in your last post (ie that the girls aren't neccessarily trustworthy)?
And how have you come to the conclusion that in 50% of Thai homes, parents are teaching thier daughters how to exploit falangs for profit?
Anyway, despite what you may think from this post, I'm honestly not trying to extend any sort of argument and though I realize you don't need my approval (why would you?) FWIW I see more of an interest in genuine communication in your last post and it's much more enjoyable and productive. That's just opinion too.

Has bitch slapped alot of people in the face, myself included. It's the end of the day here in Philly. Only 17 hours until the Eagles smoke some Bucs and I'm thinking a fool and his money is soon parted and the last thing a fool wants to learn is how some Thai women with a 3rd or 4th grade education if that is playing this well educated but naive guy out of his hard earned money. Years ago in Saigon BG would give me checks their boyfriend back in the US would send them and they would pay me 25% to cash them. I had 6 girls month in and month out would bring me checks. All the girls continued to work bar. FWIW, there are lonely guys all over the world who can't get women in their home country come to LOS, think they "fall in love" are played (willingly) the fool. MX31 morals speak for itself, but the message is clear,harsh and sad for MX31 and the sponser.

Game times are 3 pm (Bucs at Eagles) and 6:30 pm (Titans at Raiders), EST, so just change pm to am for LOS right now.
One thing I always liked about Thailand was the easy calculation of time difference.

As I said...*if* I wrote a plain post stating the obvious, no one would haved read it twice or gave it a speck of attention. But when one reads something that makes them think (at least enough to respond here anyway) or get their panties in a bunch, IMHO it makes more of an impact or at least something to learn from.
When one is slapped with reality, it should be more benficial than just some "you can't trust all Thai girls" statement. We all know that already (*generalization alert*... see my last post for justification).
If this didn't need to be done, then there would not be:
1) guys on this board asking sponsorship questions,
2) there would be no need for private detective agencies here who investigate BGs for Western clients/boyfriends, and
3) this exact forum would not exist.
But it does, and guys want to know at least more than one side to this story.
Here is a typical example. Just ran into a girl last Friday night...on "sponsorship" (40,000 baht a month) from her "boyfriend" afar. She was happy because she boasted "I just have man....S/T, only 20 minutes.....3,000 baht!" It was about 10pm and she already knocked one out and was all set to party for the night. She gets maybe one customer a week at her choosing and lives off of that. The sponsors money goes who knows where (I am sure you guys can fill in that blank).
I believe (Opinion alert) that this is more the rule than the exception. I am NOT using one example to support or represent the entire group of BGs, just as an example.
Being on sponsorship just allows the girl to be picky about who she has sex with with no pressure to pay the bills pressing her. It rarely takes them out of the bar scene/sex scene.
I tell friends who visit this wonderful country to forget 90% of the way you think about life when you come here, because it is like a different planet. Neither good nor bad, just different. The girls and sex/relationships fall under this as well (Another damn opinion alert!)
It saddens me that guys here get insulted by these words I write, but I would also hope it adds another protective layer to one's skin regarding these girls. Hell, Stickman wrote a lot of negative things about BGs here and I just thought he was a guy who saw it like it was, not like how others wanted him to see it.
"Halfway between optimism and pessimism lies reality" which is where I like to hang out at. I cannot apologize for how ugly it may be sometimes. If a BG took you for a ride, get pissed at her, I did not take your money, she did.
Thanks for all your replies....it has been informative. Oh, and to the guy who commented on my morality...just like I said before, I would pay big money to access your crystal ball as well. No one who makes these claims has been able to produce their psychic method yet...damn! Or is your computer talking to you? Did you forget your Risperdol? (If you are actually taking Risp. I apologize in advance...if you are taking Haldol, please titrate to Risp.).
