Does anyone know how the prices of REAL designer wear compare in BKK and Europe? Brands like Gucci, Prada, and Salvatore Ferragamo . . . . whatever other fun I have in LOS, I have to make time for shopping!

The prices are average in comparision, if you want really good deals on designer stuff as mentioned, go to singapore, the best by far, gucci, versace, vitton, prada, all of them better priced in SING.

when you are coming to visit LOS from europe it is not worth looking for real designer stuff as it is mostly about 50% more expensive then in most european cities. plus the selection is usually more limited here than in europe. donno about the prices compared to the usa!

the thai government imposes very high taxes on imported clothes and garment!! designers labels like Prada, Gucci etc etc are much cheaper in Hong Kong, Sin. but they are still expensive as compared to the Europeans countries, eg: Rome, France, Amsterdam.
