Just thought it would be interesting to get a local perspective on the sponsoring situation. Do you know what the Thai guys give the girls? I heard of one girl who gets about 40K/month as a 'mia noi' to an older man.
I have a friend who gives one of his girls (lower than "mia noi" category, but I forgot the Thai word to describe her) 30k a month plus random extra gifts.
At some moment when they decided that she was not going to be exclusive (she liked somebody else) -they agreed on 8k a pop when they met. Since then they have gone back to the 30k fixed per month. This one girl is not into regular p4p -at least not yet.
I know another local guy who does all kind of things a bit extreme -no matter what the cost. He has several targets. Last recent addition, he just bought her a car.
