I want to transfer money to my GF (good) but do not want to make a bank transfer where I will have to pay $45, which is alot of money for me and about the amount I will send.
I told her I can send her an international MO by Global Priority, but she does not trust her mailing adress.
Have any of you found another way to do this.

Hey Kaiser,since you are on a computer,do you do your
banking with it ?
Set up a deal with your bank for on line banking where
you have the ability to move money from your ac to hers.
Go and speak to them about this as I dont know what country you are from,I can do this in Australia.
The cost for me is around $2.00 usd.

Thanx PM, I'm way ahead you. I't nothing to transfter between to like accounts but a bitch to transfer to differerent accounts. With skeptisim, I will try Western Union. After all, when you ascend the stairs of the BTS station at Asoke, each step brags how quick they are;;

Kaiser, get friendly with a guy who lives in BKK and who has expenses in ... the USA (I think that is where you live) like credit card bills to pay there. You then send a check as partial payment to his credit card account for whatever amount it is you want to give to this girl, and have your friend in Thailand, deposit in her bank account the Baht equivalent.
You make a payment on his behalf, and he makes one on yours.
All you will have to do is coordinate details and exchange bank accounts numbers by email.

Hey, who do you bank with, I was told that with internet banking they would charge me $25 for the international transfer, even though it is done and initiated entirely by me over the net, ie from my Oz bank account to my Bkk bank acc. The normal T/T charge is $28. Are they charging you a percentage only or a flat rate, in other words $2US for any amount. I bank NAB and ANZ

in the UK the best option is Moneygram.
you give them the desired amount of cash and they send it to the Siam Commercial Bank.
the girl just has to go along and show her ID and the money is hers,cash in hand.
very easy transaction and the charges are cheap at this end.
as soon as the clerk has finished the paperwork in the UK,the money is in the bank in LOS.
so easy.
