I was wondering. Now please no flames, ok?
Anyway, let all of this be hypothetical and please try not to give smart-ass answers. I know, even I would be tempted to give smart-ass remarks to a post like this but spare me 
So hypothetically, would 300,000 bath a month or US$7500 (excluding exchange rate etc) give you a hedonistic lifestyle?
That is:
1. Good apartment.
2. Good local food. Maybe steak and other fancy stuff 2ws a week.
3. If not a good thai gf, then having a 1 or 2 BG everynight.
4. Going to discos every other night.
5. Other stuff like, movies(4/month), dvds, internet(cable, i've researched and it seems to be 2000 bath/month).
6. Massage parlours 2 to 3 times a week
The country that I am in right now, $7500 would be taxed at such a rate that I would be left with less than 50% or $3750. Add a car, since the country is so ill designed, that you can't go anywhere without a car, a really cheap apartment, home cooked food, cable TV + inet and all you are left with is around $500. Oh did I mention car insurance and dental and medical and etc. etc. etc. So, $7500 doesn't go that far. Yup, try taking your gf out for a dinner and a movie here and ends up costing around $120, yikes, unless I take her to McDonalds  Also, everything is so dull here, but that is besides the point.
So, my question is this, if I were to get a steady stream of income of $7500 a month and take it that I would make trips for visas 4 times a year, then would $7500 suffice for the above mentioned life-style?
Again, no flames, but some answers from people who live in LOS would be great.
Also, I apologize, if this has been already discussed in great detail somewhere else?

Yes, maybe in 20 years I'll get a steady income like that Atleast, I'm working my ass off to get to that level. Putting all my years working hard at getting a Comp-Sci degree from Uni. of Waterloo (it is considered a good school) to good use, don't you think? What use that might be? Sex, sex, sex LOS has spoiled me  , and there is no turning back. That's all I can think of day and night(of LOS I mean, but also sex with LOS babes  ).

Where is the money for Champagne, good wine, cuban cigars, first class tickets on SQ or CX metal to travel in summer to St Tropez, and in winter to Courchevel, trips to F1 races, the Merc and BMW. Ok, take out the trips overseas, but start adding the power boat in Pattaya, the trips to Phuket, the weekend excursions with girls on a boat and scuba diving. The big parties inviting the players and their girls. To live like a true hedonist you have to expend like one.
Many MNC corporates VP make that money overseas and do not get to have a hedonistic lyfestyle, but just get by as middle class.
By the amount you have in mid and what your dreams of hedomisn are with such an amount, you must still be very young, living the recent out-of-college life, and with a long way to go before developing real hedonist vices and tastes. And this is no smart ass reply, but the true reality of life.
A true self respecting hedonist will not go to an MP 2 or 3 times a week. Would have better hunting grounds, where the girls are not all p4p, but who need to be wined and dined and thgen taken home to a fully equipped bachelor's appartment a la American Gigolo (the movie with Richard Gere)
Real hedonism involves some amounts that are very similar in many places; at least the threshold is high enough by any international middle class standard.
Gimme 1mm Baht and perhaps we start talking about some very very good hedonism living, but still not yet over the top hedonism.

Once, for 8 days. 4 with my farang ex-girlfriend. And 4 with the tilac. I maxed out my credit card in 8 days
Only thing I am scared of is that at this age my libido is through the roof. I can have sex 4 times every day and not get tired. I'm afraid that will wane by the time I can actually afford to have all the women I want. Ain't life a bitch 
Seriously, how much would I need? I don't drink more than 2 bottles of beer or 2 pegs of scotch whiskey a day (and that is on my vacations). I don't smoke, and probably will never again do drugs. So, I think apart from "boom-boom", I really don't have that much a draw to the LOS night-life. Oh, ya, I love dancing, either ball-room or discos. I love to spend all my energy dancing (i.e. when I am not lucky enough to have sex).
So how much? Would I be able to have a great lifestyle for 90,000 baht? or 3000 baht a day? for the original wishlist I wrote?

Ok, so, if I want to live the life of Bond, James Bond (minus the guns). And I can be pretty charming, and am not bad looking either. But I don't want to be in committed relationships. How much would I spend?
Holy crap, if it is 1 million baht a month. I guess I need to do some rethinking then. Maybe, I just need to settle down and become an average Canadian, with a wife and 3 kids who go off to hockey practice, me with a pot belly and a minivan. Somebody kill me before I turn into that version of me.
Thanks all for replying. I'll keep checking what everyone has to say. But I think I need to sit down and write out what goals I want to achieve and why and how I would go about achieving them. Otherwise I'll be stuck in limbo.

It will be very difficult to get a precise reply since most folks views on what is wanted, needed and sufficient will be very different.
I have one buddy who admits to taking 100,000 GBP p.a from his business (maybe fiddles out more) and he never has enough and complains. Another buddy seems to live a good and happy life on half of thay amount.
So " up to you"
BTW, if you screw 4 times a day and don't get tired, are you doing it right yet?
