Hi.
When I arrive at Don Muang airport on the 21st of this month, I want to exchange some $100.00 series dated 1996 for THB.
Question – Will the exchange centers at the airport take hundred dollar bills series dated 1996.

I had problems changing bills older than 1989, but this was in 2002. I suggest you email your hotel, they yold me the same story as the money-exchangers and should know.

6 mos ago, I was unable to exchange these. A bank in the U.S. while exchange them for the new 100s, but this might not help you if you are not in the U.S.

Just got to BKK yesterday. Had my 1996'ers refused. Oops! Check your cash and ask the bank (back home) for only 1999+ bills. Haven't tried around Suk yet.

Hold on - what's the problem in having your bank exchange them for current notes right now, instead of waiting until you get to BKK - unless these are from your bank heist stash, and you just dug them up...?
(in which case, go to an 'in-between' country, buy goods in a bazaar with them (preferably gold), and then trade the goods later for other currency, or other goods (maybe jewels). Then sell those for hard currency.
Keep your transactions in bazaars, and you will be doing fine.
