I have a possible job offer in Bangkok for 300,000. baht per month.
Could I live an extravagant lifestyle and save a little?
(Main problem is alimony though.)
How much baht per month is needed to be more than comfortable???

figure your effective tax rate at that income will be a hair less than 20%.
you can afford to travel once a month, stay in a decent apartment, stay in nice hotels, eat wherever you want, and blow tons of money on a girl.
in other words, it's a decent income. Of course you have to compare to what you're getting elsewhere...

What is extravagant for you? And what more than comfortable?
How much is the 'little' you want to save?
In general it is a good salary in Thailand, but again, it depends on your 'status quo'

This is a very subjective question but I would say that it...
1) is the equivalent to earning twice that salary and living in England
2) It is not good for saving (cos your base salary is low) ot for alimony (same reason)
Simply put you will have more fun here with 300k a month than anywhere in the world but I that aint saying much.
