I have a friend in Bangkok who works in a beauty salon.She rents an entry-level room in the Phetchaburi Road area.
What would be the likely monthly cost of her renting the room assuming she's no room-mates to share the cost ?

could be anything from as low as 3K per month upwards, plus bills, prob 1k if she has aircon.

If the place is clean and relatively well maintained, a room with private bath but no cooking facilities may be around BT 3 - 5000 per month or with a kitchenette, it may be Bt 5 -7000 per month plus utilities. This quote comes from a couple of ladies working as mamasans on Soi Cowboy.

My place is being renovated. Best to avoid in the coming months.
All rooms are being refurnished, more facilities (UBC, supermarket, restaurant).
