I have the same problem but unfortunately I do it with 20 and 1000b notes (under certain lights and in certain states) I was handed a 1000 back by a particularly honest girl in one bar,but makes me wonder how many times I've done it and not had the honest waitress

Hollywood Disco Pattaya, mistook a 100.00 U.S. for a 20 baht note. Didn't realize it until the next morning (morning accounting of funds). Alcohol Stupidity. Learned quick not to mix and match U.S. and Thai bills, this was on my 4th trip to Thailand over 2 years ago.
Figured out, that either gave it as a tip for the toilet massage/towel or when I paid for one of the 2 rounds that night. 4000baht for a pisser massage and dirty towel to wipe my hands, felt like shooting myself.
