$200 airport and taxi costs
$270 a day or ( 9000 baht)
It ain't cheap!
Then there is lost income or wages paid.
For the 5 k at home there is a lot of suckie f***ie too..

While in Pattaya I spent around THB 2,000 a day. And that's including room, company, food, drinks etc.
Of course you can make it as expensive as you want (and need) but it hasn't to be such a high amount to have fun.

Interesting cost analysis. Yes, while my original first few trips all cost in the $2,500-$3,000 range, I nowadays spend between $5,000-$6,000 on my trips.
This may seem like "the prices have gone up", but other variables fall into place:
- while I originally used to stay for 10 days, I now usually stay for 2-3 weeks.
- while I originally stayed in cheaper hotels, I now stay in nicer hotels for a little more money.
- I now usually rent a car for the duration of my stay and go exploring.
So, yes, I do spend more, but I also end up doing a lot more, during a longer duration.
So, what does that break down to?
Listen to DrLove - the only one who determines the cost of your trip is you... and I never spend 4,000-5,000 for girls overnight. Yikes, where do you shop?

When im there I act like it could be the last time and try to pork as much pussy as I can [ good advice BK].
Both Daffy and Dr Love are both non drinkers [ from their own admissions ]. Drink tabs can sometimes get out of hand add on top the barfine and even a short time from a decent gogo will give no change out of 5 k.
Then thier is the hotel on top. The flight costs me 3000 $ roundabouts.
Everyones' situation is different im married so I take my brother in law with me most nights for 3 or 4 weeks hell I even take him to pattaya. He likes his booze and thats my excuse to go out. I like to stay in a decent hotel close to the action.
Now hotels and food are dead cheap in los with food I change from hotel food to street food to restaurant food all good and all cheap. Usually stay in 3 star hotels but 5 star are cheap and available to everyone in los. I booked once at the 5 * hotel in soi 18 but she never stopped complaining about the beds, the room and did not know what to make of the reception area so I gave up.
As she stays at the family all day and I use the room just to relax and plan the next evening suits me just fine and 1400 baht a night is cheap compared to the west for what you get.
Booze is the same price as in the west and after the initial first night buzz of nana plaza has worn off and my first 10 k has gone I rarely go back. The hotel bar is open 24/7 and pickings 24/7 from the street all good to go for 1k one even offered to go with me for 300 last trip.
Pattaya is much cheaper though the baht goes further on everything.

I want a Bangkok / Pattaya holiday....doc loves sounds more like a Bangaldesh one.
How on earth I initially thought would you travel thousands of kilometres to spend just 2000 a day?
Then I realised he lives there...and habitually watches money.
My hotel is about 1500 baht and 500 mini bar.
A devils den girl overnight with standard 500 tip is4000
A 8or 9. Out of ten girl in some disco or go go ( they have to look human doc love) ain't cheap
You pay for what you want.
Then like cheap Charlie I booze...and like Resturant food.
Shopping.
My 9 k a day is within normal mid range tourist standards.
When I travel about on flights to Phuket or Chang Mai those get added.
The pshopping as we know is good.
Then I like making Porn so need to convince,the said lady it's a good idea..
Waving 10,000 under her nose is like a fish to a dolphin you want see do atrick.
So really....even if I stayed at some dive and ate Thai and picked upa non 600 baht bar fine or 4000 baht girl..

I agree with DG, prices of "fun" in LOS are getting higher and higher....
Just an example : Not so long ago one could get a (cute enought) Eden girl for 2500 LT, nowaday the same girl (but 10 years older...) is 4000 and attitude is pretty horrible. Dont forget that "back then" 1€ was over 50 baht and now the same euro get you only 40 baht, so price has doubled for a service that is far less interesting....
Last time I was in Pattaya, after 3 days I simply runned away, quality of the girls on offer was this bad....and no I dont think I m really picky!

1 - I don't have to travel far. Just 135 kilometer to Pattaya and back.
