I want to get the hell out of america and move to bangkok. I love it over there and hate it here. I am a 22 yr old american male and am graduating college this may. Bad news is that I am getting denied from all of my lawschools and do not know what to do. I want to find a job in bangkok with an american company that has a branch office there, thus getting paid an american salary in Thailand. Is this possible?? If so, what companies??? Also, are there good schools there? Could I go to lawschool there? Help!!!!!

hmm, first thing first you need to take a big step back from those expectations you have about working here. While it is not impossible to get a decent job here in Thailand, it will be very very hard for a guy at your age and experience to get a well paying job, especially one that compares to american standards. Go over to Stickmans webpage and read up there, he has some excellent info regarding working in Thailand. Anyway good luck with your endevours.

I agree with Kyryian. I do not think you will be able to find a job in Thailand that will pay you the same pay scale as you would get in the U.S. But, keep in mind that the cost of living in Thailand is much cheaper then in the U.S.

You just need to be lucky here! I thank God for the job I got here 3 years ago. It wasn't through any classifieds ads. Somehow, the job found me.

The trick in getting what you want, is simply to wish for it and then let it happen. Sounds very simple, right? I have seen happen for me so many times, that I am just grateful everyday. Chock Dee.

Also, I don't want to interview during my week there I would like come back in October when my currnet contract in Korea ends.
