i am interested in the rates for translators English/Thai... I have made friends with a few of you on the board, as well as a few university girls, but it would be nice to have someone officially on-call when I need translation....

My brother's ex roommate (1/2 Thai, 1/2 American) lives and works in BKK. He runs a translation service and does translations for some big companies (Volvo, Toyota, etc) translating manuals and other technical documents. He is a great guy and can be trusted. tyler, im more looking for a younger guy who can follow me around and translate for me verbally on business meetings, attorney meetings, lease signings, BG negotiations (  )
also to be available on cell when i need him to get me out of a miscommunication problem and such.
i think these corporate typs of company people will be too expensive, no?
