What does a gg-girl earns in a month?
A bar-owner in pattaya told me that she paid them 5000 baht a month? (besides personal incomes, drinks etc, of course) is this right?

This will depend on how many customers she goes out with, ST or LT and how many colas she gets.
A waitress at Hollywood strip once told me that she makes about 30-40K a month, working with a similar base salary, tips and going with a customer once or twice a week.
A friend mentioned that the girls in Midnite Bar can make in the region of 80-100K a month. It could also be possible that some of these girls do get some form of sponsorship as well.

I agree with BK!! It does depend on how many customers she goes out with, ST or LT and how many tips she gets, as well as if she is sponsored.
A female I knew that worked at Honolulu MP, made between 80,000 and 100,000 baht per month. This included tips and some sponsorship.
A top model that used to work at Mirage made over 120,000 per month only working 4 hours a day 5 days a week.

the go-go my girl worked in used to be open 15:00-02:00.
she was paid 10,000 a month,plus 150 from BF and 30 from ladydrink.
i know in 6 months between my visits she sent home 300,000 bt.
this was without her own personal expenses per month.
and she always told me she was not a popular girl(bullshit).

A massage girl I knew for c.10 years recently retired at age 39 from Takara on Patpong 1, and went home to Kalasin. She was a friend, but she always had her professiona ooor mouth on, the buffalo was always sick, her brother was going blind etc. I always tipper her well, a few thousand. Anyway I always reharded her as a hard working girl but certainly not an affuent one.
Recently a mutual acquaintance, another Thai, and a former Domme of my House, told me this massage girl once took her to a casino in Klong Toey, where my Domme really didn't want to go. )Not a gambler.) Anyway, the massage girl lost 200,000 baht -- and to the amazement of my friend, she reached into her jeans and PAID IT on the spot, and didn't seem to be much phased by dropping such a sum -- $5000 US.
(My informant lost 80,000 baht and had to scramble to pay it off in a few weeks.)
The moral of the tale is that the "professional poor mouth" coupled with a winning personality and good service can be a highly renumerative talent.

Back when I was still wet behind the ears in Bkk and living in Rm #1 of the now defunct Royal Siam Guest House, and hanging out at Hog's Breath when Wes owned it (1989-90) there was a fellow beer drinker named Donald M. who had a B.G. wife named Yupin. Yupin worked at Lucky Luke's at the entrance to NEP. Anyway Yupin had 15-20 or more guys on a string, sending her $$$ every month, each thinking they had her to themselves and/or were keeping her from a life of degredation. So she had an income of 200,000 baht a month from overseas plus whatever she was taking down for tricks, and she was a card playing fool. (Donald M was a drunk and his ultrarich family back in USA paid him an allowance to stay the f_ck away...)
Yupin could and did drop anything from 50,000 to 200,000 or more a night playing cards. Easy come, easy go. That is the motto of B.G.s. And for 9 out of 10, or 19 out of 20, or more, if it isn't gambling that gets them, it's drugs, or booze, or maeng daa/gigolos, or something else. Or combinations.
So most of them (probably like Yupin) wake up one day and are no longer so young, the men are nolonger sending them money, or buying them out, so often, they have saved nothing, and are left with nothing but expensive vices that they can no longer service.
It's a shitty road to go down.

Oh, I forgot to mention:
Take B.G. salaries with a grain of salt. Almost all bars withhold salary unless the girls sell XX-number of lady drinks, or get so many BF's per pay period, which means that the 'salary' is generated by those activities. I for one do not care to be hustled for lady drinks, I am generous with them only when I am NOT hustled (which means for example that I NEVER liked any of the King's Group bars).
Furthermore owners and managers have a hundred ways to gig the girls for money, for being late, or taking a day off (or days off, a week off...) etc etc. Records are kept and there is a reckoning st payday.
When my wife (a former B.G./GG Dancer) decided to quit Hogs Breath and marry me, the bar owner clipped her for about 8000 baht -- $320 US at the time. That was because I refused to pay the owner for the loss of his dancer. Well, Rama V abolished slavery a century ago, so I reckoned this farang couldn't SELL me my wife. This story is repeated daily somewhere in the (per Trink) the demimonde.
To be fair to owners, it is a hassle keeping enough girls on hand night after night to fill the stage and be on hand to drink with the punters -- bar girls are not reliable employees, and the bar scene is notorious for personnel hassles. A warning to all you wannabe bar owners: it ain't all it's cracked up to be, being the boss.

Considering the number of bars and the wide range of salaries, and strings attached, I don't think your question, tng, can be answered in any matter better than a sheer guess. Who's going to go poll the bar owners? A lot of them would just tell you to mind your own business, or something less polite.
In general it is obvious that bar salaries are relatively low and that bar girls make most of their income from ST/LT 'work' outside of the bar. So what's the point of trying to quantify the mean (in both senses of the word) salary?

Don't know how relevent it is but I was chatting to girl in a Pattaya bar last month.
She would earn about 6000 baht in 1 month, provided she met her quota of barfines and lady drinks in the month. If she she failed to appear on time or missed the quotas, then the salary is reduced. Not sure on the numbers but I think the quotas were 7 barfines and about 50 lady drinks in the month. Obviously any fees for ST and LT would be on top.
