How easy is it to cash travelers checks outside of Bangkok, ie Koh sumui, Pattaya, Phuket, also which is best dollar or euro checks.

don't worry about cashing them.
tourist destinations outside BKK are quite modern and have exchange booths and banks.
would'nt know which is best though,never use the things.

same here, never used traveller checks in thailand. carried US dollars, or took money from from my check card via ATM's. rates were still good thru the machines. and i only went to reliable machines - mainly from the emporium or directly from the banks outside atm.
