I've lived in Bangkok for a year but never been inside a (naughty) massage parlour. There is one near my apartment on Sri Ayudthaya, and I used to live near Poissiden. However, I've never had the opportunity to go in any of them.
When walking around Bangkok, I'd rate only one in a thousand of the young ladies as very attractive, and worth paying thousands of baht to jump in a bath with. Are the MPs full of this one in a thousand type girl, or are they mostly just normal, slightly above average attractive Thai girls?

The girls not in p4p are in my opinion generally better looking. But I run into girls about once a month out of about 15 trips average per month in massage parlours who are truly nice +regular cute girl next door+ surprises of the type that you think that they seem out of place working there.

Nah, you've had 300 plus chances, you just chose not to go to one.
While getting a knock-out is nice, though doesn't mean good service, you are paying for the experience of the soapy. If you can get an attractive 'normal' girl to bathe you, slide her nude soaped-up body over you on a rubber mattress and service you during and/or afterwards, then a naughty parlor is not for you.
If you want to give it a shot you should return to the place near where you used to live.

It is true the ladies in the Thai areas of Bkk (most of the city) are not made up to look hot. But even there you need not look to far to see many are cute with nice bods. In the farang areas or where there are office buildings with girls going to work in high heels and make up, if you do not see 1 attractive girl in 500, you definitely have a problem not worth discussing here.
