Arrived in BKK at just after midnight. The taxi dropped me at the Narai hotel after 1. I asked the Narai to keep my bags, and check in later, and asked the guy who checked in the bags where I could get a late nite massage. He made a call on his cell phone and had a cab driver meet me at the front. Tipped him, and the cab driver took me to Harim's (I think that is how it was spelled) So I get there at 2 a.m. or so. The driver waits. The guy inside wants 4000B. I tell him he is crazy, and I will pay 1500 for a soapy. He says 3000, and I walk out. I have a friend with me. And he is letting me do the negotiation. We both walk out to the night, and start to look for the cab driver. Another guy comes up and says.... OK, OK. How about 2500. I say, 2000, and we agree on 2200. So my friend and I (his 1st time in BKK), go in and start suggesting girls from the gallery to each other. Anyway, I dont really see any that I am interested in, but then I see a girl not in the gallery, comes out of a side door, and is talking to the counter girl. After a minute, she walks into to gallery with a number. I think she is the best looking, sexiest one, and I select her. My friend selects a girl, and we both go upstairs. I ensured that we were getting seperate rooms, and my friend asked about that later. I told him I just wanted to make sure. Anyway, the girl is gorgeous. Which is one of the reasons that I come to BKK. But afterwards, she doesnt want to leave with me, she says that she must work everyday. I tell her I know about the bar-fines, but it's a no-go. Anyway, I go out, and the taxi-driver is sitting at a table having a beer on the street. There is some sort of late night, early morning chair/table arrangement on the street, and I join him. I buy a soda, and get something to eat, while I wait for my friend to come out. The girl that I was with come out, well, its closing time... about 5 am, and all of them are coming out in street clothes. Anyway, the girl, comes over and wants me to buy her some dinner. I tell her I want to take her with me. Maybe to go to Cambodia for a couple of days. It is a no-go though. She looks even better in street clothes. So I wait for my friend, and well, he is young, and has some problems.... dont really know what, and he really was a little embarrassed, so I let it pass. Anyway, the soccer (football) game is on the T.V. on the street, and we are watching it. The cab driver at 530 a.m. says; come with me, I want to show you. So we go to a place just down the street (walking), and it is across the street from Harims. I walk in, and there are about 15 girls sitting on the sofa, and the mama-san wants me to take one with me. We are negotiating, and my friend comes in looking for me. Guess he was afraid that I would lose him or something. Mama-San doesnt know we are together. SO, long story somewhat short.... Didnt take any of the girls.... mostly due to jet lag exhaustion affecting my judgment, and me knowing it. So, there is Late Night Soapy available.

cab driver took me to Harim's (I think that is how it was spelled) Anyway, there was a rather large "HARIMs" sign on the front of the building. There was another sign (temp type) which spelled it differently.... HARAMs... maybe. Anyway, I was staying at Narai Hotel, and the ride was pretty short. Sorry I cannot be of more help. Seemed like we (my friend and I) were the only Farangs there though.

Yes, it is 'HALEM'. The touts at Patpong always thrust their brochures into my face whenever I am at Patpong,asking me whether I wanna go there. I always say 'NO' to them because I suspect that they get a very good commission from this MP.
