Pinga's on the right track here... I also have a strict "cut my losses" policy. If I sense the wrong attitude, I ask for a replacement; you can usually tell in the first 5-10 minutes. And ALWAYS give feedback to the papasan.... these guys rely on repeat business and word-of-mouth advertising. They can't afford to tolerate "bad attitude". If they start getting negative feedback on a lady, she'll be outta there... her looks won't save her. These guys understand what makes a good hooker because their livelihood depends on it. We should all help them with quality control.... our input is important if they are going to maintain a high customer satisfaction index.

No such manual. Best "guesstimation" technique is probably to see which of the girls smile at you. It's all a crap shoot.
There've been times when I've taken girls who were a bit standoff-ish to be nymphomaniacs when in the room. And there've been times when I've taken outgoing girls whom were starfishes in the room. It really is a numbers game and there is NO precise formula.

Yeah... you can still go wrong if the girl is a new recruit because the papasan has not had feedback on her yet. And the bigger places have such high turnover that they can never be up on all the help. Of course the better you know the papasan the better his recommendations are likely to be... since he gets to know your taste.
It's an art form.... and there's no substitute for practice you're always gunna miss occasionally, but I do think you get better at it. And you gotta be prepared to cut your losses as soon as you detect the wrong attitude.
One thing I always do is take my time... I don't let anyone rush me into making a hasty choice. If you chill out and observe the ladies a while, the odds of a good choice go up. Of course this is easier at some joints than others...

Think of the papasans and mamasans as used car salesmen. They're just trying to make a quick sell before your interest wanes and head elsewhere. Sure, the cheerguests may have some input whether a particular girl is popular, but why? Maybe the girl just has huge breasts but a crappy attitude, nevertheless all the Jap tourists wait in line for em. Do the cheerguests have first hand knowledge by "test driving" the merchandise? I doubt it. The best a cheerguest can direct you is merely aesthetic tastes, rest is all chance.

I've never heard of any girl getting the boot due to their attitude. The only instance I've heard of girls being "fired" is from health and safety issues.

IMHO There is no formula for picking the right girl at any MP. What we can do is try to minimize the risk of a potential starfish.
Yeah, yeah difficult to say we could follow this or that but there are few facts in my humble opinion....
1. Many times the girls smile at you, right, but they are hungry for money and not for the farang. Thus, just TAKE YOUR TIME. Buy a beer and, while facing doubt in choosing a girl, just request the advise of the papasan but avoid asking: Who is the best one Sir? Which one can you recommend? Nop, I think the questions could be: Sir, who offers many boom booms per session? I love boom boom too much. I want to kiss pussy, Does she like it? Who does very good BBBJ? and things like these. I've done this many times at several MPs i.e. CP2, J1, etc. and now got some experience on the "field of expertise" of several cuties at different places....
2. Found that few papasans i.e. the one at DARLINGS, are extremely helpful. Sometimes I go and said Oh! No. XX is gone. Who is the other one good in BBBJ? He has a mental list of top three girls who are very experienced on it. Of course you can BANG the cutie while at the room afterwards. That is not a problem. The point is that papasans are very helpful sometimes and I can add the one at NATAREE to this list as well. Excellent guy.
3. A smiling and gorgeous girl in the fishbowl might be the right choice at first sight but sometimes these are the ones with the worst attitude. Therefore, check her out while at the cashier. This is the time to talk to them, invite them a mint, smile to them saying how pretty they look in that dress, and shit like that, some Thai will help though....As DEEPFILE said, it won't take more than 3-5 minutes to realize the attitude of the TG. If you are not satisfied, just ask the papasan another recommendation despite on what you have chosen (fishbowl or sideline girl). He will give you another option and then that will be a sure nice BANG cos the second "choice" will be darn aware of why the first TG was sent back to the fishbowl empty hands, you see?
NOTE
I think that also a bit of luck is always needed. Another experience....Went to MONALISA last time and three of us got BUSTY ones. We all looked at No. ?? cos was the most beautiful in the fishbowl but her sight feedback was terrible. The starfish alarm was enabled again and we dropped her in the bin at the very beginning. However, "shy guy" got her cos his sideliner was suddenly taken by a Japanese while we were finishing our cigarrettes....I got another busty one and Supaporn got his. By the time we were going upstairs for the bang the girl of shy guy was by far the best of "our choices" and this was confirmed by him at the end of the services. Attitude, I asked? he said top 10. Incredible. This time was a matter of interaction and good manners. What looked bad in the fishbowl was excellent on bed. You see? I think we do need to show a nice attitude and then expect the girl to give you hers. This works all the time and was confirmed on that day.
