Closest to JW M. is the Annies Soaphouse on Sukhumvit Soi 4 (Nana). There's a map on this forum. Certainly you can walk up to Soi 12 for Darlings, takes about 10-12 mins, but, can be hot/nasty depending on outside temp.

JW Marriot is close to NANA STATION on the Sky Train.
Here is your best bet for "close by" MPs
- Annie's Soi 2 is the known closest for Soapy.
- Happy is on Soi 1 (across the street).
- Darling is Soi 12 down the street. Walking distance...but not as close as those mentioned above.
- Hop on the Sky Train and in 3 minutes you'll get a Train. 7 minutes later get off at PHAYA THAI, take the furtherest exit outbound on your platform and go to CP 1, CP 2, or CHAWALLA. All those are "walking distance", IMHO.
Plaza Entertainment is not that close. I've walked to it from Soi 20 and by the time I got there, I was sweating so heavy!
When I return, I'll be looking for more MPs to see how I can get there without a taxi! I want to try CP3 for nostalgia sake
