I don't see it making the upscale MPs any more profitable... but for the lower rung MPs, it might be a good gimmick. Ý I think MPs have some of the lowest advertising budgets around. Ý Once in awhile you might see Davis Group put up a big banner at the Huay Kwang intersection or a the regular magazine ads in some TW and JPN skin magazines.... Ýbut otherwise this industry is heavily word of mouth. Ý ÝI mean geez... it's not like they're trying to sell junk bonds. Ý People almost never say "no" to this product.
I disagree. As a manager, I wouldn't use the fishbowl cam to trawl for new customers, but I would use it to get the most out of my regulars. If I lived in Bkk and such a thing existed, I would periodically check on it and that would spur me to visit more often (or visit them instead of one of my other regular MPs). At 5pm when knocking off work (in my fantasy life) I'd check the fishbowl cam and if I saw something new and cute (or one of my regulars stirred up some memories) I'd call up my cheer guest and tell him to have the girl start filling the tub!
Compare this to strip clubs in the states. Some of them post regular schedules or list the girls who showed up for work that day. This definitely works to generate a little incremental business (assuming you have decent girls to begin with) and requires no advertising.

I think someone needs to understand that THIS is Thailand and some services and girls working at very well know places don't need much propaganda to become darn popular among the youth and the senior Thai people and even among the expats/tourists.
The only propaganda I've seen about MPs is the one published in few local magazines promoting nightlife....the Website of Poseidon and Cleopatra and that's it I guess....and those f_cking places are always bloody crowded....we have done a good job with barons as well....shit!!!!
