Update
Visited Copacabana and Barbara early December 2004. They share the same premises rooms management etc.
However since Pinga wrote his report, I think it is safe to say there is now no comparison between the two places.
The girls in Copacabana are IMHO clearly more in the model category, although this is recognised in the higher price charged. But after all it's only a small premium.
I took a sideliner from Copacabana with a jacuzzi room. Slender but curvy 20 year old with a good attitude and easily an 8 IMHO. Only blip on the radar was the jacuzzi did not function.
Barbara on the other hand has a more limited selection, around a dozen or so including some older TTM ladies, and ladies on a par with places like Nataree or Evita. Nothing that special.
From what I saw on my visit it was well worth the extra to go to the sideliner area (left of the fishbowl) in Copa. I paid B3500 including the deluxe room surcharge but the overall charge varies according to the girl.
I was there at 6.20pm and the stunners were disappearing so quickly that I can only recommend Copacabana to those able to make instant decisions. If you like to mull over the selection while you sip your beverage, the one you liked 30 seconds ago will have gone.
Otherwise, as others have said, an upmarket and spacious facility but probably running at a capacity utilisation way off what it was in its heyday before the Chuwit troubles, judging from the many empty rooms. And don't waste too much effort about Barbara in that neighbourhood. Better value elsewhere.
