You will need to take S8, then take taxi to mall of tha pra, which is about 2 km away, not sure you want to walk it in bkk sun.

I puzzled over this thread for weeks when it first posted. There used to be links to some Japanese maps, which were as frustrating as the Thai map for someone who speaks neither language....
I thought Krungthon complex is at 13.70832,100.48127 which would make the walk from skytrain click for google map 2.8 Km
BUT this is from someone who has never been to that side of the river, and no one should consider this post useful until there's some further verification...

Bro. Juniper: Thanks for the confirmation. Unfortunately for me, I had a hangnail after posting and just had to go trekking for KC myself... in the noon-time BKK sun.
I took the BTS to station S8. From Exit #1 I continued walking down the main road then turned RIGHT. Found myself at the momument round-about. Went up on a couple pedestrian overpasses looking for The Mall, no luck. Walked back to S8 and decided to keep walking down to station S7 in the hopes of finding The Mall. Still no luck, gave up and got on the BTS back to Asoke/Suk. Figure I'lll give it a go next time.

Krungthon is on Ratchadapisek-Tha Phra Road, when you get off BTS go toward Ratchadapisek then turn left. Then you will find The mall of tha pra, then krungthai is next to it. Be careful of the thai map as it is rotated.

Here is a link to a Google Map that has Krungthon Complex marked (as well as most other MP locations).
Krungthon Complex
As you head up Ratchadaphisek towards Thanon Ratchapruk there is a gray rectangle on the map. This is The Mall.
Going right on Thanon Ratchapruk you will get to the BTS station that is marked on the map. This is S8 or Wong Wian Yai BTS Station.

From these maps, I would guess that Krungthon Complex is near the Lumpini Place Condos.

When the S10 South Ratchadaphisek Station is completed it will be at the intersection near The Mall.
I believe there is a feeder bus from the Wong Wian Yai BTS Station to The Mall.
