As AdrianJJ points out, the big problem with Malenna is getting there. Its on RatchadaNiwet, and the cross soi is 21. From the Thailand Cultural Center you go east about 2 miles on Thiam-Ruammit Road until you reach RatchadaNiwet intersection where you turn left. Head north about a mile, crossing straight through the intersection with Pracha-Uthit Road. The soi numbers increase as you proceed north until you spot a big sign on the left at Malenna. Taxi drivers in the Huay Kwang area would understand "Meng Zai" and get you there but I would not recommend trying to get there in a taxi from outside the area.
Adrianjj.... I gotta ask, how the f_ck did you spot this place on your way to Carnation?? You must have MP Radar.... 
The place has been open only 2 1/2 months, and does not get much customer traffic yet. You have two choices as you enter; either TTM/Oil/Sauna in the building on the left or Soapy in the larger building with ramp on your right. The first opens at 11am and the soapy at 6pm weekdays (2pm Sat/Sun). Note that there are 3 access doors to the smaller building, the first for the spa, second for the cafe and third for the fishbowl. (The food is mediocre, and they offer live "singing" most evenings - the usual rotation of talentless amateur pooying).
One of the papasans moved over recently from Nadia (K. Toy) who speaks excellent english so language is not an issue. Pricing for TTM is 300/2, for OM it is 650/2 and the spa is 150. After a good bake in the sauna (very nice facilities, with cold plunge bath etc) I chose #89 (Yo) mainly because she has a wonderful smile. There were several good options among the 15 in the bowl.
Although they are new and very clean, the rooms are a bit small. Workable, but squeezed. There is a shower and an adequate bed, both about the same configuration as Baron but on a smaller room footprint. I found the aircon too cold for comfort and had to abort the massage; while this could have been a disappointment it turned out that Miss Yo was a very sweet lovemaker so the session was a success. FS is part of the equation, like the TTM joints on the Ratchada strip. One weird quirk: you can't order beer unless you are seated in the cafe.... this is related to the Bigmouth Chuwit Syndrome.
At 7:30 Sunday evening the soapy fishbowl had only two girls, and the place was dead. I was quoted 2000 but didn't bargain. A-jj calls it correctly: there are better options that are easier to access, although Malenna may improve as it becomes better known and patronage increases.

hey that sounds good, although day or night??, only ask because we went there late afternoon on friday and it was pathetic, they had closed both fishbowls and did not open them until 6pm and the sixth floor was shut. Girls were few and they were sitting in the lounges, all of them, no sideline separation etc.

Maybe you were there on a bad day dude...cuz there are many urine checks going on due to the Chuwit saga.
BTW, the sideliners on 6th floor model are made to sit on the ground floor until abt 6 pm and then they will be instructed to move up to the model lounge on the 6 storey.
Well...i always would perfer to be the "cherry popper" of the day so at abt 5-6 pm would be fine with me...let's keep in touch via our cell phones

Actually getting there is really easy: ANY cabdriver will know Sie Yak Meng Jai. That is the crossroads where also Caribbean is located. At Sie Yak Meng Jai, turn right if coming from the express way. When coming from Ratchada or Suk, go straight at Sie Yak Meng Ja. Malenna is huge and well lit. You can’t miss it.

It is supposed to be on the other side of the river. I think either in Pinklao or in Thonburi.
