May be you can improve the perception of Indians by your acts and deeds. Don't give ten Baht bills and coins to your rented friends. Treat them nicely and smile. Don't put a serious face. Thais are very perceptive about this. They want sanuk, jokes, fun, and funny persons (like any other girls in the world). Don't treat them with a mentality that they are whores. Yes, they are but you don't have to treat them like sluts. Don't brag that you have all these money and don't think that the Thais are there to rip you off. Use common sense, be informed, don't argue, smile and walk away if you don't like what you are getting.

I am originally from India - living in the US for the past 25 years. I have been to BKK 8 times. Occassionally there are TGs who think they are superior to you or whatever (working TGs in BBK seem to have an unhealthy obsession with white people anyhow). I simply ignore those (they can be spotted a mile away by the expression on their faces and lack of eye contact). Those that bother to talk to me - and find out I am from the U.S. (=$$$ in their mind), their attitude changes completely. They know which side of their bread is buttered - so to speak. There are so many choices on and near Suk that it is not even worth worrying about the odd TGs that "looks down" on you. I usually wait for the girl to show some positive response (smile or eye contact) before proceeding (minimizing chances of rejection; it's one thing to be rejected by a non-pro..but by a pro??! Devastating!!).
There is "institutionalized" racisim too: they would not let me enter Rainbow II in NEP ("members only"; yeah, right). But whose f*cking loss is it anyway? I tested this some time later by going there with a Caucassian friend of mine. No problemo!! No one stopped me then. Stupid f*cks.
Yeah, Indians can be rude and loud; and they tend to be feudal in their outlook - just a cultural thing. But this is also a stereotype because every person is different (duh!). Is there a "race" of people that is not stereotyped by some other "race" of people?
Whoever suggested that Indians stick to Grace is wrong. I've picked up working TGs from Beer Garden, GT, Nana Disco, CM2, and several other places. So.. no need to restrict yourself. I find once they get talking to you and if you are nice, most TGs have no problem with you. There are one's that won't even give you a chance - but who cares?

It is only a matter of "color" I guess.
I come from the middle east, but i'm white and I have never had a "racist" experience in BKK even when people knew where I came from !!!. Only some strange looks when I had some gulf people (dark color people+ moustache) with me... but still all this kind of racism is banned when Mr. $ is in action... isn't P4P all about that ?!?!

if anyone is smartly dressed has manners there is no reason for refusal, however imagine your working in the p4p would you go with everyone you meet, as when the sponsors giving and business is good they can be fussy, but on quiet times not much choice.
I don't speak thai in bars now has the girls seem to mov e on for the new boy in town easy to { lak gai } trick.
All in all if the girl's not interested why bother, move on, if not definite starfish.
