Why would there be any police raids? Do they employ illegal non-Thais?

Three visits recently all around 4pm-5pm:
First and second visit, empty fishbowl. Not many customers about either.

So far as I know, police raids are usually about checking for underage girls. It's a poorly kept secret that some 16 year olds work in MPs saying they are 19, so if management isn't quick (or tipped off) there have been (temporary) closures enforced. This happened to a major Petchaburi Road MP last week.
Punters, so far as I know, have so far just had to cope with unwanted appearances on TV3 news. So they usually clear out fast.
But that's not to say police can't knock at the door during a session and, if your selection has an ID with the wrong numbers, you've got a problem.
I'm talking generically about all MPs here, not specifically about Love Boat. It went through a period of frequent raids, more to hassle the business I think; whether that's continuing now, I don't know.

An update on Love Boat/Long Beach. Got there around 5:30 on a Thursday, after walking about a km. from Rama 9 subway station, along Rama 9 Road, faster than the traffic was moving.
