As much as I love Thailand the notion that most girls are beautiful is pure fantasy, even in the top Go-Go bars only a small percentage are stunners. Pattaya is even worse with 95% being far from attractive ---- sorry but I am telling it as I see it.

I think we are talking about 2 seperate issues. No, the girls working in BK clubs (Nana, SC) are not model quaility or even 10's in the US Strip clubs (NYC, Miami) by US/Euro standards.
Would I shag a large portion of the girls working in the BK clubs until they had trouble walking the next day. YESSSSSSSSS !

It takes all kinds to make a world, I guess. I don't know where the original poster is living in Bkk or if he is living.
Alternative explanations:
1. he's a queer.
2. Totally different standards of female beauty. What does he like?
If you're in an area where there's lots of offices like Chitlom or Silom, the beauty is amazing, it almost hurts. The incredible quantities of uni girls turn me on too. Skytrain at rush hours is a serious of erotic explosions.
All those women to me are certainly more attractive usually than most p4p girls. But that doesn't mean many p4p aren't sexy too. Many young ones excite me. I immediately want to have relations with them.
If portchester23 is so dead to Thai chix what does he look for in this forum? Advice on neckties?

Stunners represent a small percentage of the total population in any country, be it Thailand or Guatemala. However, in general, I find that Bangkok has a much higher "cutie per capita" ratio than non-Asian cities that I've been to. Also, girls take care of themselves, which is more than can be said for women back in Farangland.
Much also depends on whether the OP has yellow fever or not. I do and find Thai ladies delightful; someone who is indifferent to Asian girls might easily find himself mired in apathy while in Bangkok.

Whilst I do agree with this statement, I can say, for a fact, Seoul is also having almost the same "cutie per capita" but then....comparatively more expensive for a night out (US200 per pop)

I agree, they look and dress like the average girl on the street to me.
Well, maybe a few might be have on a little bit more make up... No, not really.
In the skytrain at rush hours, in the business districts, malls such as Chitlom, Emporium, even MBK--they're everywhere.
Granted, they may not be selling pig livers on a stick at a flaming cart in the middle of the soi; may not be counting change at 7-11; they may not be sweeping dead leaves off the road; they may not be giving oil massages in your average TTM either!
But sometimes if you look under the squashed cabbage leaf, the dust of scorn, the shadow of poverty, they are.
Geez I feel all beautiful inside myself now.

I visit Thailand every year.
I find the many of the ladies attractive. I do not mean "lady-boys" but real girls. And I do not mean to jump into bed and have sex with them right way. Not in that sense. Though I would like to after eventually getting to know some of them. What I mean is, I do not see Thai girls on the Skytrain as mindless sex machines. I see them as human beings.
I am only talking about those I get to see.
Those I don't get to see can be even more beautiful.
Those are in the millionaire clubs, or those who are from millionaire families, or those who are BKK super models, or Chiangmai beauties, or those who are kept as mistresses by some lucky dude (higly paid expatriate sent to BKK on "hardship posting" -- or so he bluffs his colleagues back in his homeland).
Just walk around Siam Square on a Saturday afternoon.
Lots of young (18+) undergraduates and female office workers.
I like the petite, serene, fair, slightly reserved, polite, well mannered, well educated, slim, young type of beauty with minimal or no makeup in simple dress.
This turns me on. This I can get to like very much.
I do not like the "Hustler magazine" concept of western beauty.. e.g.. Anna (what's her name?) Smith... big size, unreal big (silicone) breasts, tough, brazen, very "forward" in attitude, can be rude, can be crude, demanding, not very well mannered, a lot of flesh, big boned, plasticky heavy make up, not dressed in regular every day clothes but dressed in unreal specially revealing clothes.
This turns me OFF.
Wonder what the late billionaire saw in her. Well he is dead now. A dying man clutches at straws. Any SH*T will do.
So maybe our friend who says he seldom finds pretty girls in the BKK Skytrain is looking out for a different kind of beauty.
Well, to each his own. There is no right or wrong in this.
