That it is legally wrong (and rightly so) is another matter. It is punished by law to protect the young person, as it is likely that she (or he) is not mature enough and could be easily seduced by an older person who takes advantage of his (or her) experience. Notice that in many jurisdictions for sex with a 15, 16, 17 year old minor to be a crime, there must be a certain age difference: for example the offending party must be at least 5 years older... in such case a 19 year old would not be punished for having sex 16 year old, whereas a 30 year old would be.

Thanks for all the input. The feedback was on the mark without being 'judgmental'. I sometimes feel that the Thai Nightlife scene is overwhelming. It is really like nothing else in the world. I have seen many guys literally "burn out” in 48 hours. They are like kids run amok in a candy store.
In any case, it seems that most of us have our heads 'screwed' on straight. If we loose track and think that we are here for a serious relationship (which the girls would love) we are set for a downfall. Which is a very smart distinction, yet one not made in the USA -- where two 17 year olds can have sex unabashedly, until one of them turn 18 first, and gets hauled to court by overzealous religious morons on the basis of 'statutory rape'. It happens here far too often.

Oh, you could be so, so wrong  -- and, honestly, how would you know what these girls do or don't do, if all you do is look?
Of course, I'm being facetious -- a larger bulk of youngest girls certainly will be less experienced, which I've noticed myself, but many of them have also proven to very quick studies -- and, one of the better experiences I have had has been with a self-described 18 year old (albeit I do suspect she must have been older at the time).

I promise I will rinse my mouth at least three times in holy water than unmixed absinthe but I need to agree with DD 
Besides I went to Spasso tonight and it wasn't that bad, at least on an anthropologist POV. I might have done a few of those girls 10 years ago... and they would already have been of legal age...

Many years ago I picked up an 18-year old from Thermae, and she was definitely experienced. She even liked anal-sex as well. As it turns out, she started real early, at 16 when she was in Pattaya. So, you'll never know until you try them out.

I have to tell you a story about SPASSO. About ten years ago, I am coming back from work about 6:00 PM. I am staying at the Hyatt Erawan. I go into the hotel via the Spasso entrance. It has been one of those days; I am tired and horney. Some combination! As I pass Spasso to enter the elevator to my room, I see a lone beautiful Thai girl sitting at the bar. To this day, every time I go into Spasso, I have the nightmare of this girl. I do not take it personally, but I cannot get this story out of my mind.
I am curious what you guys would have answered her.
