Even though the Soapy MPs are on your agenda, I don't recommend staying in a Ratchada hotel.
Yes, they are nearby to many of the MPs. But it can be difficult to get back to the hotels by taxi if you have been partying elsewhere and the MRT has closed for the day.
I suggest a hotel near the Asoke interchange. You can catch the MRT subway from there to take you up Ratchada to the MPs and back.
You can catch the BTS skytrain at Asoke to get to Nana Plaza. Or catch the skytrain in the other direction to the Soi 33 bars.
Right next door to Asoke are the Soi Cowboy bars.
And it is not that long a walk to Soi 11 with it's Spice Club, Bed Supper Club, and Q Bar. In fact, Soi 11 is also a good choice for hotel location.

You will get a better hotel deal from Tim then you will get with an agency package deal. And Tim will make sure you get a girl-friendly hotel. The travel agency won't. Nothing could be worse than bringing a hottie back to your hotel, but be stopped by hotel security.
