Is the extra cost for round 2 and beyond happening to everyone ? This is one place I never have this type of problems with. Plaza is one place I always have to pay extra for extra rounds.

I've been going to Bangkok for about five years now, and I stay about a week each time. I like Poseidon---pretty nice rooms and other facilities. Girls are attractive. I have crossed Ratchada from Grand Hotel, but it is scary. You have to wait for a break in the traffic and run like hell! You can also cross at the light up the street. I used to go to the Grand Hotel by taxi to avoid bad drivers before the subway was installed. Now, the best way to get to Poseidon is by subway (MRT) and get off at Sutthisan Station via exit #4 and walk back. That way, you don't have to take a taxi to Grand Hotel and run for your life. It's also faster than a taxi since you don't get caught in the traffic jams. If you're there after midnight, you have to take a taxi because the subway stops running. At that time, though, traffic is not a problem.
Timing is important on the 3rd floor Model Lounge. Best time to arrive is between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm. There's usually plenty of good-looking ones there at that time. When I've arrived there later than 9:00 pm, pickings were slim. I've tried three different models. In each case, mamasan set me up ahead of time.
One time, I went with a Penthouse model. She was cute, but didn't look as good as she did in the magazine. Service was adequate, but not great. Second one was not a Penthouse model, but had a good reputation. Service was very mediocre with poor personality. Third time I went, I was switched. I had asked for a popular model, and mamasan set me up with her. When I got there, she switched me (maybe a regular customer called at the last minue) to another one. I agreed since she looked attractive, but I was a bit miffed. As it turned out, this one had the best personality and gave me the best service!
In general, the 3rd floor girls are overrated. I think you can get better service at a lower rate in the fishbowl and many of the girls are just as attractive as the 3rd floor ones. Also, try the sidliners down below. They are young, attractive and many are students. I have had good service from them.
My most satisfying experiences, though, have been in my hotel room. I've found some real gems out and about---at Angel's Disco or outside in the parking lot, at hotel coffee shops with students, at the garden bars and even at Thermae. You have to look around, and usually you need to see 30 girls to find one, but most of the time I can find a beauty. I talk with her and if she has a good personality, I take her to the hotel. (I negotiate services ahead of time.) Sometimes I bring girls from the massage parlors or sideliners to the hotel if they give me good service at the MP. Cost is less and service usually better--not always--but consider this method. These experiences have been the most satisfying for me.

Yes, there have been lots of reports that the model types are not worth it. Eye candy but poor service.
Pity..... a girl could land an elephant (very wealthy and available guy) or more to the point lose one with poor attitude and service.

1a. And yes, it's not too difficult to read a person's financial status. I'd think it's even easier for these girls who meet all types and in volume.
2. Many people don't want to be these girl's elephants.
3. Someone here isn't happy about the service, and it surely isn't me.

Either station will work, but I am fairly sure that Suttisan is closer to Poseiden n Copa Cabana.
Huay is closer to most of the other MPs there, however.
