These girls know nothing about wealthy people. They are often daughters of rice farmers and even the Uni girls who part time at an MP have little real expereince outside the MP with really wealthy men. Otherwise they would be taken, married and living in a small mansion somewhere.
One reason they think they can spot wealth from looks is that men in Asian culture like to flaunt their wealth in contrast to farang men in the West who downplay it for many reasons.
Our little disagreement here may hinge on the word "have". You mean have as a customer. I mean have as a potential husband to solve their long term financial needs, desires and fears.
A girl who puts out good service only to those who look good (appearance or wealth) are foolish and short sighted; they will miss the rusty one who's dad left him 15 mil and is really looking for a beautiful wife.
In Thai it is.... sum num na..... she gets (or in this case, fails to get) what she deserves.

I mean "have" as in a lot of these girls in the 'better' massage parlours already have sugar daddy's or at least better off than most boyfriends, in the same way most bargirls seem to have poor boyfriends. Yes, more in quality is better, and upgrading is also welcome. In most cases, an avg. falang is not considered an upgrade.
They aren't interested in one's portfolio of holdings back home. What they do screen out is the tourist and long stay 'small' businesses or teacher type falang who just ran across the street from the Grand Hotel, walked all the way from the subway -rumpled and sweaty, or just got out of a taxi. What they do target however, are the well off local, multinational expat falang *who can often be identified by his company of important locals* and east Asian foreigner expat market, who are involved in both legal and illegal businesses, tip heavy, often meeting in MP VIP rooms to do businesses, can legally own homes, property, and businesses here with relatively little effort. These girls are also informed in advance when anyone of importance is in attendance. Walk in traffic, no reservations is often pot luck and with a little experience, these girls can read these fellows. Often starry eyed, don't even know the going rates, aren't familiar with and often ignored by the papasans, etc.
Yes, you're right in so far as a girl straight off the farm will likely have no idea what is going on. It's my opinion though that the learning curve is steep *because of short careers/high volume* and that they pick up fast, often with the help of other girls and of course the mamasan and papasans.

Interesting conversation between Pack and BKK. My view is that a woman's performance is relatively consistent from man to man. In other words, if a woman gives great service to one man, she'll probably give great service to the next man as well. Conversely, if she gives mediocre service to one man, she'll probably give mediocre service to other men. Naturally, there are exceptions to this general rule. If a man is attractive, in good shape, dresses well and is polite, he'll probably get better service from all women. Men who appear to be well-educated and affluent also tend to get better service. It's true that sometimes, YMMV (your mileage may vary), but these things are not as important in getting good service as the woman herself. In other words, a woman who provides good service to one man will provide good service to most men unless the man looks bad or behaves poorly.
My view is that the women on Poseidon's third floor (and most women in Bangkok's entertainment industry) give similar service to most men. In other words, you can be a terrific guy, but if the woman is not accustomed to giving good service, she probably won't give good service to anyone.
For me, the key thing is to find a place or a woman who gives good service. My experience at the 3rd floor model lounge is that service from most of them I pretty average. I think it comes from their self-image of being at the top of the heap. They don't really have to try harder. They can give mediocre service and still get customers because they're very attractive or because their customers think that if they're on the third floor, they have to be good. Independent judgement is not something that's displayed by a lot of third floor customers or else they're more interested in beauty than in a satisfying sexual experience.

Agree. But there is also a huge variety in "quality" or at least type of guest-customer as well. From the zero tippers to the 5,000 Baht a hit tippers, from those who shower once a day + have body odor, to those who stay relatively clean + air conditioned all day. And then there's the difference of how a girl treats her regulars vs. the general fare.

These girls have somewhat fewer customers. If a high volume fishbowl girl does 80-90 rounds a month, these girls would perhaps be in the 40-50 round range. In my opinion they simply treat a handful of guests with better service and everyone else gets the common-average treatment. These are the ones they either like, have good chemistry with of course, but also the ones that take them shopping, pay their rent, etc.

True, but it's also relative to the importance of the customer. Girls who are top of the heap here might be bottom of the heap somewhere else, and they know it. All in all, they also know they are at the same end of society. The punters however are anywhere from people making 50,000 Baht a month to the people who make millions a month. Not always true, but there is likely going to be a different level of reverence from the girl, in fact it's often an ingrained part of local thinking, between a guy says he's an English teacher and shows up in a taxi and all wet because he doesn't have a driver to hold an umbrella for him and a guy who has booked in advance, owns an industrial estate, and arrives crisp and clean when most people are getting back from their lunch break.
