Practically everything is available. Authorities show high tolerance in this regard. Corruption is quite spread. Only sometimes they make a show in the media how they crack down on some mafia-run brothels or clubs (easy to target).
Recently the prices and quality went down with the influx of girls from Ukraine, Russia, etc. so there is an oversupply in Prague, contrary to other cities. Quality and prices differ considerably, language barrier is also a problem (they advertise English and other foreign languages but reality is often different). There are pros (employed and independent) and semi-pros (students, mothers, even grandmas) boosting their budget. Employed girls get usually 30-50% from the price. Many girls, especially on the street, are gypsy, Ukrainian and Russian, some do unsafe sex (BBJ, BBJTC) and some are pickpockets.
Whomever visits first needs to let the rest of us know what it's like. I'll try to make a trip in the next couple months.

First time poster here, though long time BKK resident.
Hope the info below helps.
Poseidon used to have a special room of Russian ladies set aside. They did not sit in the fish bowl with the other Thai girls, but were up on the 5th or 6th floor. You had to ask one of the mama or papsans to let you up there.
Interestingly, when some of my friends (from the US) asked for Russian girls in English, they were stonewalled. "We no have. Only Thai."
But luckily I speak fluent Thai, so that may have been what did the trick. We were escorted up the lifet and to a room with about 20 Eastern European girls.
Two of my friends chose Russian girls from there. The general comments were that they were not on par with the hot Russian girls they knew from trips to Russia (surprise, surprise), that they were very business like, and that they all chain smoked. Overall, no glowing reviews. They were also much more expensive.
This was about two years ago. This room may be long gone by now. Not sure.
Anyone had a similar exprience there?

Um, I'm talking about PRG (Prague, Czech Republic). Look for a mini-FR after my first visit, possibly in October.
In any case, I think most folks are aware that LOS is rather free of Russian girls after the big crackdown a while back. Those that are still clueless can just keep asking until they turn blue in the face. Serves 'em right. LOS is a great place, but variety is the spice of life.
Packripper... I tried to burn some money there on a non-VIP girl during my last trip, but was denied. Maybe I could tag along with you next time?
