When Tracy Lord made those underage porno videos in the US years ago, the government arrested a lot of people in the adult film industry. But they all got off because she had a real drivers license with a fake date of birth, and even a valid US passport with a fake date of birth. Apparently she got those docs with a falsified birth certificate.
But as noted, whether the Thai courts would let you get off the hook if a TG has a fake id, may depend on other things beside logic and due process.

When such busts of farangs occur, the police are not interested in taking it to court. Hence the reason you never hear of it happening. How often it happens will never be publicised either for the same reason. The cops are after the fine they impose at the time of transgression.
