Can someone who knows give directions to Utopia MP from the nearest subway station (Rama 9) ?
I've read the previous Utopia thread and understand it is somewhere on Rama 9 but not sure which direction or how far from Ratchadapisek. Thinking of taking subway to Rama 9 station and taxi from there. Have Thai script map from Utopia website but can't decipher it. Have called phone number from website but only go outgoing message in Thai. Have read previous thread that Utopia ia listed as Monroe on mappointasia but can't get map to load.
Could someone who knows help a brother out with where Utopia MP is in relation to Rama 9 station and which side of the road or landmarks to find it.

The problem of Utopia is there is practically not any landmark building within 200M. Aiming at a landmark will not work. You either take the cab (I am not sure if Utopia charge taxi commission) or walk from the junction of Rama 9 and Ratchada (Yes the same junction you see Fortune Hotel and Ellysee).
OK, starting from the junction, you walk along Rama 9 towards east. About 400M there is a main road (with traffic light guiding the vehicles) perpendicular to Rama9. Standing at that junction, you look at your left side - ie. you are looking northward, you should see Utopia sign about 300M inside that main road.
The walking would not take you longer than 10 minutes from the Ratchada junction. But it can be quite uncomfortable in BKK day time.
One more thing, the hotel nearest to Utopia is Maxx Hotel in Rama 9. It will take you about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the MP. But I do not suggest you to stay in Maxx. Their overnight guest policy is very inconsistent and unfriendly. It can ruin your mood. After all, their room and breakfast are also only average.

Thanks much for the help. As you suggest I'll probably give it a go with a taxi because of the heat. Will try out Utopia on one of my next two trips to BKK (Nov or Dec). Will report back if there's a taxi commission.

Are you guys positive there's no farang surcharge for sideliners, or at least you can avoid it after bargaining??
Didn't notice it after a few visit with a local friend who's a regular there. If true, I'll definetely try a sideliner there, or most likely a particular model upstairs

so you all KNOW I had to try UTOPIA...i had copious notes, diagrams, etc to get there but when I jumped in the cab and tried to explain (in my minimal thai) streets, directions...he politely cut me off and said, "do you want to go to UTOPIA??" hahah
get there (no fee for cabs, I even shorted him on 103 baht...i only had 100s and he didn't have change...mai pen rai) btw, the fee should really be around 50 bht from most sukhumvit locations but traffic was a bear and it was raining.
walk in, to the left is fish bowl and sideliners...EVERYONE staring as I am the only farang in the place, literally. papasan says hello, what am I looking for? great talent both in the bowl and the couch/sideline area to the left. can't really remember what he mumbled but it was probably around 2200 bht. immediately I mentioned my penchant for model type women (coke bottle figure, flat stomach, etc). "OHHH you want model lounge! upstairs, please!"
roll upstairs, as you walk up the entire model thing is to your right. you walk in and there is a circular bar and to the left...couches. the bar is covered with stacks of magazines that don't really mean to much to me. I guess it is a big game for some guys to see that the girl they are getting is in a centerfold. I see about 25 girls, I guess I came at the right time! a nice hostess approaches, LAK...very helpful...she grabs magazines to show me pictures and then points up to the corresponding girl on the couch. some GREAT looking ladies! I was thinking about the girl in black (young, firm PRIME) of course, as I was ordering a beer some table snatched her up AND my backup pick AND my third pick hahahah mai pen rai

btw, I think most models were 3500 bht...i picked a SIDELINE model hanging outside the bowl....4500 bht baby... but TIT...oh I have a GREAT pegasus story but I hate writing these long, drawn out posts (i'm sure you have reading them too heheh)

Played golf yesterday and after finishing was Mii A Rom Maak maak. My friend suggested that we go to the 6th floor of Nana where I have not been for years. I said OK and we went and had a bite there. Always like to go and have a bite to look for awhile. We sat for about an hour and looked at maybe 30 girls. All in all, there was maybe 2 I would have romped but was totally disappointed. We payed the bill and left.
I still fetl the urge so we crusied over to a know quantity in Utopia. I ove this place and always head upstairs. Tong takes good care of me and did so yesterday. Thay place during the week at around 19:00 is perfect and you can get anything you want.
Needless to say, Nana was once again dissapointing. I do not think I ever had a great one there.

Please tell us about pegasus!! I was there last night in the company of some very affluent Thais and other asians, and thought the girls were rather disappointing.
I can easily find the same quality on soi 33 for half the price.
