You have to spend some money and try the girl. I don't think you can tell just by looking.
The only other way is to ask others for advice, or ask the papasan.

If I do a soapy and then during the soapy she's really disinterested or not worth my time.. and believe me that was the case the other night... then I'm going to make a call downstairs and use a fish tank girl. I'd say if you can explain to them why and are diplomatic about it.. it will probably go smooth. I know with the tips I give around there I'd have no problem, but I do agree they are trying to run a business and this course of action needs to be warranted and not abused.
Probably a better idea would be to hit the couch and spend a little time before the soapy with a sideliner and see if she's interested. If you got the clout then jump in the tub.
Now if you mean "sucessful session" is having dip your stick then yea.. there's no chance there of getting a refund. But after reading these threads, if I get into a situation again like that I'm going to give her 500baht and just go downstairs and get a new one.

Oak - I was trying to clarify the following quote : "Management will not charge for the next girl" And what I am saying is - just because you don't like the first girl doesn't mean the next one is free. Do you see how your post could be interpreted that way?
Agree with you to pass on the sideliners & stick to the pros. Poor service unlikely to be an issue with them. 232 is a pretty girl.

The next one is not "free" but since I already paid 2300 for the sideliner the papasan (or that one cool mamasan that works there) can keep the spread and hook me up with a pro.
So the money spread goes something like this lol
Sideliner gets kicked and makes 500 baht (thats if you tip), but looses 1000 baht since she does make you happy.
Papasan picks up 500 baht on the spread, unless you want to whine and ask for the money difference.. I'd just tip the papasan (or maybe the house?).
Fishtank girl makes you happy and gets her 750 baht out of the 2300 and whatever tip you give her.

Don't forget that the girl has to pay 500 Baht for the privilege to work there for the day, plus 50 Baht to have the room cleaned. So her first gig is is a measly 200 Baht plus tip.
A friend of mine at Cupidy told me once that someone paid 40,000 Baht (the taxi driver told him that the experience would be "amazing"), but that drained him of his money, so he had nothing left over for a tip. Not only that, but he had no money for a taxi, so she "loaned" him 100 Baht for his ride home. Not how I would do business.

hmm I think you've been given some mis information, there is no daily fee for the girls to pay
50 baht for cleaning is right
they do have to pay 400 baht once a month to get blood checked
the girls also get a coupon per customer, sideliners get 50baht and tank girls get 80baht.. each customer they get one coupon.. if 4 hour customer they get 2 coupons
at the end of the month they can have the maid send it to the office and get 20% back
also girls buy all the soap and everything in the basket, when they first start it costs them 2000 baht for the basket and some other stuff
