"....I think tipping 500B after getting good service from a 5K model at Poseidon is too little and I don't think she'll really be happy with it. If you showed up in the model lounge the next day and she recognized you she would probably try to avoid you and catch another customer instead. Note that many girls will not show their displeasure when getting a low tip. They are trained at many MPs to not show dissatisfaction to the customer and can be disciplined if the customer complains....
I have been tipping the models at Poseidon and Cleopatra with B/.500 and never ever got a complaint. I love to talk to them first for a little while and only go to bed after a beer or two....I check attitude FIRST and even could manage a dinner or two with a couple of them at the Brew Pavillion (Ratchadaa), which was a rip-off date....
....according to my experience the gossiping among the girls (models included) mainly deal with the smell of the customers, which kind of watch he was using before and how good/bad/funny was the customer on bed on top of things.

Pinga, I agree with your comment! You should always try to entertain your girl or make her laugh before going to the bathtub or to bed. I have couple of gimmicks I use in Bangkok and believe it or not, it always works. Sorry, I can't share my secrets with you or the board members, but keep trying!

a related question to the "tipping" debate
how much would a fishbowl girl earn with a regular job compared to her MP work ?
I guess that a beautifull fishbowl girl, with four customers a day, gets 1000 b /customer, that is 4000 b/day plus tips. Probably what she would earn in one month with a regular low qualified job. Am I wrong ?

But we all can't be Pinga. I'm not telling anyone what to tip, but I still don't think most girls would be happy with such a tip from an average one-time customer. I think your posts could be misleading to the average reader.

People won't take my comments as a rule but as a reference instead. I don't think I mislead anyone cos what I post is what many guys do including myself. This is only a reference for others.

Tell me if I am wrong, but this is what I was told. The girls at J1 or CP2 split the take of about 1900 baht, where the house takes 1000 and the girl gets about 900. This is pretty good pay for 2 hours work. I was told that I do not have to tip them. Only to leave a 20 baht note for the maid. I like CP2 because you can pay the house 560 baht and the girl a 1000 baht note with which she is almost ecstatic. You guys must be rich tipping the purple 500 baht notes. That feeds a family of 4 for a week! Call me Cheap Charlie, but the reason why the girl's attitude changes is because they get spoiled by big tippers. Yes, I have heard from the girls that some have given them a US$100 note and did not know what it was worth until they took it to the currency exchange booth. But then again, I was told by a girl that she knew exactly what it was worth -- 4250 baht!
