Been there today and found out that the girls in the fishbowl now are divided into three groups.
Girls (left) : 1.3K/2-hr service
Girls (center) : 1.6K/2-hr service
Girls (right) : 1.8K/2-hr service
Selection was good. The sideliners were very busy and saw at least two coming back from a service and in less than 5 min they were hired again....good boops indeed.

FISHBOWL
After you mount the stairs the fishbowl and a herd of papasans are right in front of you. I strode condfidently up to one decent looking guy and started chatting him up, he not speaking English passed me off to Mr. Somchai, a short youngish guy with a round head.
QUALITY OF THE CHICKS
At this hour the bowl had 7 girls with double digit badge numbers on the left and 4 with treble digits on the right. In my view three of the girls on the left were prettier than than all but one on the right.
PRICES
Somchai quoted me 1700 and 2000 baht respectively, which seems in line with recent reports.
He mentioned price was for two hours although my girl started getting dressed after 90 minutes, but no biggie on that disconnect. I got my jollies and how.
I asked him for a recommendation, but didn't like the 1700 gal he pointed out (too round and white), but he had a second choice and I pulled her, #57 called May, from the 1700 baht pool. Tipped Somchai 100 for his trouble.
DRINKS
Didn't sit for a drink in the lounge, but we ordered in the room. Heineken (tall bottle) for me and a Coke for May. B/.165.
FACILITIES
Rooms are decent, nothing fancy, but very clean, towels and linens, tub, all spotless. Mirrors around, which I actually tried to use this time to good effect.
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
The girl didn't speak much English but wasn't so shy after I spoke my bad Thai with her a little bit. It's an act because I actually understand a lot more Thai than I let on or can speak, but struggling to say the words is embarrasing. Making the effort is a good ice breaker.
SERVICES
She ran the bath hot, which I like, without any prompting and gave me a good rub-in-the-tub. Sweet girl, dark, slender and maybe 160cm with a slightly husky voice. I had a couple of flashes that she might have been "constructed", but after the fact, nope, real girl.
After the bath she showed a lot of initiative and that part of the deal was just fine both times. In between she didn't try to give me a halfassed massage just laid on my arm. Sweet.
We just got to talking and she was telling me about how she went to "sunday sing-a-song Christ" with her friend and she actually sang a verse of some Thai-Chritian hymn. There's a first time for everything. I considered briefly dressing and hurrying home to genuflect and confess my sins, but instead I plunked her again. Take that, Christian Deity!
First time around I was a bit quick on the trigger, but second time I stuck it out long enough so that she seemed to have some fun, too. She actually said "thank you" afterward, but whether she came or was just grateful she didn't have to fake it too much, who knows.
So, back in my domicile just under two hours after I left, happy camper, spreading the good word. I'd definitely go back to Meree, though I'd go early in hopes of a bigger selection. And I'd definitely see May again, although my security protocols preclude that. She's a nice girl, really, with soft skin and and soft touch with her hands.
TIPS
Last, rip off my head if you want, but I tipped her 500 baht and she seemed very pleased and grateful. Total cost on the night about 2500 baht including transport, money well spent in my view.
