Just an added note: Mirage has an excellent kitchen, and the massage lounge in front of the fishbowl is an excellent spot for a light dinner.
Pricing is very reasonable, as well. Cuisine is Thai, of course.
I often select a girl from the bowl, dine with her at table, and then retire upstairs.
It is a delectable evening's repast, but I try to go only when I feel very, very dirty.

I would still like to see some pics of these "models" from Poseidon or any MP,really. If they are THAT hot why are the MP's showing dogs on their websites? Someone said something about "MP's not needing to advertise,etc." Rubbish. Poseidon has a superb website and could easily post pics of these models.

As I said, the website is not a marketing tool they depend upon so it gets neglected at virtually all the MPs, not just Poseiden. Many/most MPs do not even have a website. And the girls are really not all that sensational at any of the MPs. They are dressed classier and are often a step up from the poor Issarn rice farm girl, but that is it.
As for the models, there is a book on the 3rd floor of Poseiden where you can see a much larger selection of ladies than those present at the time you are there. You can make an appointment to see most any one of them at another time. Many of these girls in the book are fashion model level beauties who are picked by very wealthy Thais. So this may be your best shot at a stunner if that is what you are hoping for. But remember common sense that stunners are oft times starfish. So if service skill and enthusiasm is important to you, be warned.
Mirage is very nice too. Do one night there too.

Haven't been to Poseidon nor Mirage. But I'm wondering...are the Model Lounge at Poseidon better than Cupidy?
Plan to check out Poseidon in 3 weeks time. Any recommendations for my next trip to Bangkok?

I have never been to Mirage. I have been almost everywhere else at least once. This is just speculation, no manager has ever told me this but I believe it to be true. The turnover in these bigger well known clubs is pretty quick. The girls do not stay for very long before they switch to a new club or go back upcountry or...whatever. I would suspect that as soon as a manager can put a girls picture on the website she is soon to leave anyway and he will hire someone new. I've been married to the same Isaan girl for 10 years now and we have 2 sons (well 10 years in July anyway). I have gotten to know quite a few of them over the years (shhhhh! let that be our secret... as if she hasn't suspected I'm sure.). There is one thing that all these girls seem to have in common. They will change their minds in a heartbeat regarding very important decisions. They do not actually put a lot of thought into the decision. They just do it. And much of the time some other girl who pretends to be an expert has recommended the course of action. So they switch jobs, quit jobs, move from Bangkok to Phuket or vice versa without giving it much thought. I suspect this has a lot to do with the quick turnover rate in the big clubs. Again, just speculation.

In a word "yes". But ironically there is very little difference in the quality of the girls in the model lounge and Poseidon's and their fishbowl contrary to what the hostesses and MP's will claim. You could take all the girls and swap them from the fishbowl to the lounge and vice versa, the customers will never notice the difference until they pay the tab and the lounge models cost twice as much.

Visited Poseidon last week for the 1st time w/my buddy & we went straight to the Model Club on the 3rd floor. The selection was pretty thin when we got there (must've been around 9 pm). About 10 girls sitting on the sidelines. 4 of them were quoted as top level & carried pricetags from 4000baht for the top model (who wasn't really all that to be honest), & 3500 baht for the other 3. The other 6 on the right were 3200 baht each. None of them were really as good looking in person as they looked in the magazine pics obviously, as most of those pics are retouched & lighting manipulated to get the optimum results. I work with alot of fashion photography in my line of work, so I know that you can never expect what you see in print. But sometimes the difference is staggering. I will probably check out the fishbowl on the 2nd floor next time I'm there.
Btw, the mamasan on the 3rd floor is very attractive for an older lady. I told her I wanted to be her boyfriend & she seemed flattered. Lol.

For those that don't know, there is a farang charge at Poseidon. 1000 baht for the 3rd floor modeling lounge and 500 baht for the 2nd floor fishbowl.
