I had a pleassure of visiting poseidon myself for the first time. Went straight on the second floor where I was met by friendly papasan. I was checking girls and he was doing his usual papasan stuff, "this girl is good, one in pink shirt is great". It is not so bad in BKK.
Just pay a bit extra.
Where I come from, I have personally seen a papasan tell a member of another race flat out that there are no girls or all are fully booked for service. When so many were inside.
And he told them to go away.
I was sitting inside.
Maybe the other race got bad repute for the things they do to the girls or fights or disputes over money.
Fights are bad as the Police will clamp down and ruin the papasan's business.
They just do not want this potential trouble anymore.

Yes, exactly.... walk about 5-10 minutes back toward sukhumvit. Or get off one stop earlier / Hway Kwang / and walk up about 10-15 minutes toward Suttisan.

Regarding the cold water...
The only way this will ever change is if you complain. Even then it may not ever change, but we all know that saying nothing won't fix it. I've been in real Japanese baths in Japan, and I've often wondered how they ever live with the lukewarm crap you tend to get in BKK. Do the BKK MP's have special 'Japanese only' rooms with working water heaters or what?!
