I had a quick visit to Utopia in December. I was in a rush (wanted to fit in MP, ST and LT that night and got a late start) so picked the first girl downstairs that caught my fancy. Took a brief look upstairs on the way out. From what I saw the quality of girl is comparable to Poseidon. The service I got from the fishbowl girl was comparable to service from Poseidon fishbowl girls, very good. The Papasan downstairs was helpful and seemed to appreciate the tip I gave him, 200 baht. I'm sure I paid the Farang surcharge, don't recall what the price was. Will try model lounge next trip, however, it's hard to skip Poseidon now as it is so damn convenient from the subway.

...OK, starting from the junction, you walk along Rama 9 towards east. About 400M there is a main road (with traffic light guiding the vehicles) perpendicular to Rama9. Standing at that junction, you look at your left side - ie. you are looking northward, you should see Utopia sign about 300M inside that main road.
Note: The sidestreet Utopia is on is at the second traffic light on Rama 9.

Made a visit to Utopia for the first time in three months this past Thursday. I have frequened this place for almost two years, and the old papasan who always handles me came right over with some bad news. He advised that the prices have gone up$1000 baht this month,right fishbowl 3500baht,left fishbowl 4000baht, and the sideliners in front 3900 baht. In the past the farang surcharge was just 500 baht. I neglected to check if the prices for asians and thais also went up 1000baht.Upstairs models used to start at 3500 for farangs, and I was advised the price has gone up here also. There were some high quality girls upstairs,one beauty who was picked just as I got there I inquired about-was advised her price was now 6000 baht, but she was one of the two or three best that saw. Downstairs used to be comparable with Poseiden"s fishbowl-but I did not stay long enough to make a fair evaluation this time.

Will make a drive by tomorrow. If the parking lot is still full at 5 PM then the price is still the same for the Thais. If they did indeed jack up the price by 1k, that would be a crying shame since all the customers I take there enjoy it better than Poseidon. Now I have find another reasonably priced massage with decent sideliners. Any one has recommendations?

Visited Utopia recently.
Their business was extremely good.
Noticed the Utopia car park was full of luxury limousines.
What a stark difference from Amsterdam which was left with a forlorn 10+ ordinary cars in Amsterdam's big car park that looked ridiculously empty.
I like it that the local lady singer in Utopia was singing some really good English songs in the open lounge. The lounge was full of customers.
Again in response to tourists, Utopia was the polar opposite of Amsterdam. Their mamasans and papasans did not seem too interested to do business with you at all.
But got to talk to one of them and she explained their system.
Wandered into the 2nd sty model lounge and it was like full of local Thais. The waiter in the 2nd sty model lounge did not seem too happy with foreigners' presence. My guess is that this is the private playground of the filthy rich local Thais. Maybe the waiter acts (pretends) to dislike foreigners to suck up to the local super rich Thais and make them feel good.
But on the whole Utopia did look much better than Amsterdam.
By the way, if you look down the road you can see Long Beach MP's neon sign.

Not the playground of the filthy rich. Just the playground of anyone who doesn't mind spending 2000-5000+ Baht a shag. The filthy rich here do visit, but they also order in as well so as not to draw too much attention.
