We were three guys from India together when we were turned down entry at Long Gun. So numbers is not the answer. A Caucassian in the group would do the trick I think. As a matter of fact the only couple of times I have had a problem in Bangkokk (once at Long Gun and once at a couple of bars in NP) has been in the company of a couple of other Indians each time, both of them darker skinned.
