You of course were correct when you pointed out your origional observation in my incorrect use of the word"allways". You were also correct in pointing out that I have only visited LOS on one occasion, 16 Nov - 03 Dec 03. So to correct myself;
When I was in LOS I always seamed to have a smile on my face, this was liked by the ladies with whom I interacted. It helped me overcome the fact that I had been hit with the same ugly stick that Mr Krypto has been hit with.
I have no idea how or even if Mr Krypto overcame his problem, but I did hear a toung clamp and a paper bag were involved?

Gentlemen, getting back to the original question.
The replies make for sad reading. All the talk about 'nice heart', 'being a nice guy' etc. counting in the end applies equally well in our home countries. Anyway, that is what everyone says, right?
And yet we are all flying to LOS (me included) because we can't find a decent woman at home, despite our good hearts, decent manners, good jobs, etc., etc.
I believe that a thick wallet talks. That's why I'm going to Thailand this week - my wallet is thicker there and I can't compete on my home turf.
Sad but true.
