Pretty disturbing that most of the soapy MPs are shut down in the Ratchadapisek area. The only ones that are still open are Alaina, Merci, Hi Class and The Lord.

passed by Nataree the other day: chains on the doors and people nearby and doormen from Merci, who ushered me in frantically, said it's closed indefinitely; oh well, saves the schlepp to this part of town I reckon; the papas in Merci assured me that, of course, they had the same girls as Nataree, which I could quickly assess, is not the case; they (Merci) do have a staffled price-scheme, of 5 steps: from 1800 to a baffling 4800; the lowest price could be explained by having elderlies, the others I saw no difference, perhaps the 4800 one could be labelled 'supermodel', but not in my book; I made a hasty wai and got back, happy to never having to do this arduous trek across town again

I had similar experience when I was at Merci and the few other MPSs that are still open. The prices seems to be very negotiable. My guess is that you can get the nicer looking models at under 3000 baht.

I have this theory, which has yet to be tested, that some of them may have gone to Thermea! I read a post here a while ago that many ladies in Thermea now also favor farangs, instead of just Asian punters, as used to be the case the last few years.

The Criminal Court on Wednesday handed down prison terms of up to 13 years to operators of the Nataree massage parlour in Bangkok for illegally procuring young and migrant prostitutes last year.
The five defendants were sentenced for involvement in the operation of the massage parlour on Ratchadaphisek Road where migrant girls aged under 18 were found working in June last year.
Prosecutors told the court the Nataree parlour employed eight foreign girls older than 15 years but younger than 18 for purposes of prostitution from April 10 to June 7 last year.
Defendants were found guilty of human trafficking, having minors perform obscene acts and prostitution, housing illegally working migrants, illegally operating a massage parlour and illegally employing young workers.
Pong-anant Khanakhet, supervisor of the parlour, was given accumulated sentences of 13 years on six charges, and Somprasong Soijit, managing director of PSS Entertainment Co which ran the Nataree, a total of 12 years and 6 months. They were also each fined 15,000 baht.
Panarin Hanpatanakit, Atapha Laemae, and Lapchulap Ngoentempiam were each sentenced to 8 years and 6 months in jail for procuring the young prostitutes. PSS Entertainment was fined 655,000 baht.
The court said it had commuted the sentences by half because they had confessed.
Prasert Sukkhee, also known as Kolak, the owner of the massage parlour, and seven other suspects, remain at large.
