the last and only time I was here,i was really disappointed with the service by the staff and selection of the girls of the model lounge. as I was returnning to the main floor, I notice a karaoke area to the right as you exit, was full of very young Laos girls, does anyone have any experience here ? the mamasan seems super cool.

Decided to hit the Poseidon model lounge on my first evening back in BKK after an 11 year absence.
Arrived about 7:30 PM Sunday evening via the BTS/MRT. About 20 models on the couch when I arrived, but watched that number dwindle by almost half in the next few minutes as they were chosen by Japanese clients.
I think I was the only farang there, but was made to feel quite welcome by the mamasan.
Picked out a 24yo, 167 cm girl and was quoted 4500 including the surcharge. I was very satisfied with her effort. And pleasantly suprised by her english language skill.
Would definitely return were there not so many other places to visit. (Only have 27 days left this trip).

Took a sweet young Baccara girl back to hotel last night. But found that while I was doing her, I kept visualizing the Poseidon model from the night before.
I find that visual experiences stick with me long after the physical is forgotten. And I just kept remembering that model's face turn towards me and look me straight in the eye while I was pounding her from behind.
She might have been pricey, but for me the visual memories that will stick with me will be priceless.

was disappointed by the quality of models in the Model lounge a couple weeks ago... they're all very bitchy looking & don't ever crack a smile... definitely not what you'll see in the highly airbrushed magazine pics they have in the catalog... I hear most of those girls are by appointment only, & you'll expect to pay upwards of 5000bht minimum for a session with any of them... we didn't have the time to make an appointment, but woulda spent the money easily if that was what I saw sitting in the model lounge when I got there.
very high class establishment though... the mamasans & papasans are very professional & don't hassle u to make a decision like in Nataree... the atmosphere in the model lounge is very businesslike... almost feels like ur sitting in a damn country club cuz all the customers are sitting there trying to look as rich & bored as possible... gimme a break, ur there to pay to have sex... lighten up a little... wouldn't hurt to tell the workers to be a little more friendly either... i'd have no problem spending money there if the girls were more affable towards the customers who walk in.
overall, i'd say the quality of the girls in the fishbowl on the 2nd floor are no better than what u'd find at many other soapy places in the Ratchada strip... the normal rooms at Poseidon are nice though... didn't get a chance to check out the VIP suites like I did at Amsterdam (Champ Elysees)... now that is the place to go if you wanna splurge & go crazy in a room w/a few of your bros... the VIP rooms there are unbelievable.

I have been to Poseidon once, checking out both 2/F fishbowl and 3/F model lounge. I chose a fishbowl girl from 2/F for a session upstair. Overall I felt this place suck due to bad attitude of the staff and the girl. In this soapie, they seemed taking new customer for granted.
Among all upscale soapie joints, I am most satisfied with Emmanuella even though Emmanuella is relatively quiet and doesn't have many girls in the fishbowl and sideline.

Exactly. The bg I was with at the time did not fit that description.
I can't remember the model's name. I will have to go back and find out.
Anyway, went back tonight with Cocoroso at about 6. Checked out the fish bowl first, one maybe two caught my eye. I expected a lot more girls, perhaps they were occupied.
Then moved upstairs. The girls had the couches filled. At least 24, maybe more.
We decided to check out Amsterdam as well... mistake. 6 girls total on the couches and nothing close to spectacular.

I'd like to get some views on when is the best time to get models and Sideliners at Poseidon and the other Ratchadapisek places. I've had good luck with 3rd Floor Poseidon models from 6:30 to 7:00pm, but I'd like to get some other views on the best time to go for both models and sideliners.
