My last trip, there were no girls to choose from. So, the mamasan offered me the photo book. There were several awesome models in it. I made an appointment for the next night and was not disappointed. She was a solid 9, with perhaps the most perfect natural breasts I've ever seen.

There is nothing really I have to contribute to this thread as yet, being still a newbie after a few visits to Bangkok, except my plans for this coming july. However, I really wish I had read even what "little" I have managed to read thus far, before I had gone to Cleopatra, as I told you all the story in another thread some time ago. There, I had mustered all the emotional strength to walk up to the entrance of cleopatra and, upon entering the establishment and being greeted by one of the managers, to ask flat out (politely but foolishly) if I could please hire the services of a lady back to my hotel room.
The response was polite but firm: "You are an idiot!", only it was phased rather more considerately, along the lines of "This is entirely up to the lady." (with no friendly smile following the utterance)
My vice is that I tend to prefer absolutely stunning looks over service, if I cannot have both.
[parenthesis: IMHO and compared to my experiences of the UK escort scene, here in Asia or at least in LOS and Hong Kong,...or at least in what little I have seen from LOS and Hong Kong, service is never a problem. If all girls could just be Asians!--only personal opinion of course]
So, given this vice, I am planning to get two or three model type ladies (I am not rich, but I save lika a maniac for extravagant but memorable glimpses of heaven, however expensive, even for this commoner's eyes) in my hotel room. From what I have seen and read up to the page I have reached on this thread, this sounds probably like a dream, unless I spend time with them on the premises and then ask them if they are willing to come to meet me at my place another day. And then they'll probably say no, having probably more important and more regular patrons to attend to, the guys that do not have to save for each extravagant trip.
I'll let you guys know about how it went, if it goes anywhere at all. I think I'll try this my first night there and, if unsuccessful, I'll look for other places.
Please excuse my babbling, as no real info was contributed by me here, except just to say thanks once again mates for the info which I most seriously needed. I have got to keep reading of course but, as my upcoming trip draws near and I am afraid I'll be still reading these pages from my laptop in poseidon's lobby asking the mamasan there to give me just a couple more minutes, I better brave the storm and jump head in, so to speak.

I visited the models lounge at Poseidon a few days ago. Selection was so so, but then a "penthouse girl" showed up. Very nice indeed... 4,500 I guess including the surcharge. Can I just suggest that if you want a multiple girl experience with really good looking girls, you might well find you can get girls who are just as good looking at Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy in some of the better gogo bars, but at a fraction of the price you would pay hiring them from an upper class soapy. Even better, get to Eden at around about lunchtime when some of the prettier girls are available - 3600 baht for 1.5 hours with 2 girls who are specifically trained to collaborate in giving you pleasure. I suppose it would be fair to say that only a minority of Eden girls can be compared with the most attractive models at a good soapy, but some of them are still very attractive and their attitude is generally good. There is also the option of hiring out a couple of Eden girls overnight for 6000 baht - more or less equal the cost of 1.5-2 hours with a top model at one of the soapies. Whatever you decide have a great time.

Everyone's standards of attractiveness are different. For myself, there is a huge gaping gash of a difference between say the upper end sideliners and mainstays at Emmanuelle, Amsterdam, and Utopia >the latter being the defacto sandwich central in my opinion at this time< when compared to the been through the meat grinder one too many times gals over at Soi Cowboy and Nana.

It's a fair assumption to think that ladies in Soi Cowboy or Nana have seen a lot of action.
High End soapies and Oilies are no different.
But if you have the time to monitor Soi Cowboy and Nana, I can tell you that on occasion, you will get girls quite fresh from the daisies and more often than most guys think.
High End soapies or oilies would not risk putting a newbie into their paddocks who has only just stepped off the bus.

It's not just the volume that I'm talking about. The 'grind' of the work that takes place is different. The oily and soapy environment is rather controlled. The amount of damage done to the sex worker, especially in the higher end places is fairly limited.
Conversely in the bar scene, it's rather wide open what the girls can and are subjected to.
