Believe brother Pinga has hit on something with his posts. the points been made before, but the more I read and the more I visit MP's... it all comes down to timing and the girl you chose..... as well as your own attitude and approach.
If you come into town a couple of times a year like I do and don't have 'regulars' set up.....I say chose the MP that's convenient, is priced where you want it, and where you like the rooms, etc. I've had great sessions at Mona Lisa (while drip drying to avoid touching the towels...although I hear this is corrected) Plaza, Natatree, Mirage, etc. etc. but I've also had horrible sessions at all the same places. Haven't seen any sort of trend emerge. Sure, the models at Poseidon can be a sight to see but for the fishbowls....you just have to work on girl selection and attitude/approach going in.
Read brother Pinga's advise well.........he's the master! Toasts to you bro....
BTW, will be back in September probably......the countdown is about to begin!

UPDATE
at CP2 saturday 23 august. Government restrictions have changed opening hours at CP2 and it appears throughout all the BKK soapies as I encountered the same thing at Meree on Thursday (posted on Meree thread).
the new opening hours for CP2 are -
weekdays 1800 until 2300
weekends 1300 until 2300
so now no debate about best time to arrive. 6pm or before and join the rush.
add this to the massage tax, constant raids (meree for example raided again Friday night) and enforcement of low room numbers and things have got tough. for the girls too, maybe most of all.

have seen this in evita and colonze. police check ID and take urine samples for drug testing normally.
under the old rules the MP was tipped off about 20 or 30 minutes in advance, no so sure about that now.
so if you are very unlucky the answer to your question would these days be yes.

I went to CP2 last week and was surprised that the fishbowl was dark at 4pm. All the stuff I read led me to believe that they opened much earlier. In fact, the sign inside still says open from 11am. Anyway, one of the waiters told me they were going to start at 6pm, but it was more like 5:30pm when things got going.
I also went back the next day and they had a company meeting in the fishbowl! With all the girls there and the mamasans and whoever listening to a speech by the owner I think he was. Of course the guys gathering around the fishbowl couldn't wait and started plucking the girls out one by one.

with chuwit off stage things can thereafter begin to settle back toward some normality. Ýone indicator will be to see how much interest there is in buying his MPs. Ýhis prices might be optimistic, my feeling is since soi 10 he's taken a bath.
