Did the walk from Rama IX subway station to Utopia (1.4 k according to my pedometer) alongside Friday afternoon traffic. Uncomfortably close at some points thanks to the campaign posters that block the footpath.
Utopia has a ground floor viewing area with fishbowl (3,500 baht) and sideline (3,900). One floor up is where the beauties sit, and a few are indeed lovely. Those sitting in front go for 4,400, while the models in back seem to have a price range, up to 7,000, for a farang anyway.
I had a drink and some food, then walked to the subway, 1.2 k to Thailand Cultural Center station, IMO a more comfortable walk than squeezing thru the narrow ways along Rama IX Road.

Link to a map of Rama 9 MPs... Utopia, Long Beach, La Defense, etc. Make an evening of it and hit all three...
Rama 9 Massage
Long Beach (Love Boat) and La Defense do not have the top high-end models you see at Utopia, but I think they both have younger side-liners than Utopia. At Utopia, I think of the rest as the wanna-be models that don't make the cut.

It has been quite a while since I visited Utopia but I got a chance to go yesterday and I had a mind blowing experience. I have had many very good sessions with ladies in LOS. Mostly due to repeating with my favorites and thus getting top notch, appreciative service. But I did not expect to have such a wonderful time when I entered this Soapie/Club this time.
I know Utopia is expensive with the farang surcharge, but I find the layout and presentation of the girls to be very inspiring. The spotlights on the sideliners and the upstairs model room all add a bit of class to the visit. If they had no surcharge, I might rarely go anywhere else.
I had plenty of time this visit so I decided to relax and sit with my drink and soak it all in for a while before choosing. I arrived at 4pm and papasan told me that there would be many more ladies in an hour or so. I saw several very attractive faces and enjoyed the view for some 45 minutes. As time went on, more ladies came out of the door near the payment desk and walked past me to their seats so I had a good look at the new arrivals to the sideline sofas. They were getting better and better as one would expect as the lookers often come late knowing they will get picked quickly. Finally one delightful vision walked in. Slim with a gazelle like figure in a knit dress that looked to be tastefully painted on her shapely svelt body I stopped breathing for a few seconds. My calculation went like this.....
If she does only 2 customers a day @ 20 days/month;
Since she gets half the fee of 3900 = 2000
Plus an average tip of 1000 [judging from her performance with me I think she gets this or more];
then she is at 6 x 20 x12 = 1.4M baht/year.
This excludes sponsors and big tippers.
It includes 2 days off per week, not one.
And she told me she often does 4 customers a day with her many repeaters. So this is likely a lower bound.
Not bad. And she earns it with her beauty and the skill of a polished courtesan.

I just realized an error in my assumptions.
Very few farang come to Utopia so she does not get 2000 for the fee. But if she does 3 to 4 clients a day, she could still be at the figure estimated even without sponsors.
