I would not say that all the soapies have rubber mattresses unless you specifically ask for one. None of the one's I have been to (Darlings or Poseidon) offered them as standard, but maybe they were available if I had asked. There is usually a large bathtub (or whirlpool tub) where the "soapy slide massage" takes place, and then action moves to the bed.

I am planning a trip to Poseidon but need to be very careful coz I am on a trip with my gf.
Just like to know, how long would it take for a taxi to Poseidon from Emporium? Let say on a Thurday at around 5:00pm?

It could easily take 1 hour to get tp Poseidon at that time of day. Probably the same when returning. I would recommend that you take the BTS to Asoke stop, and walk to Darlings on Soi 12. Massage time is 90 minutes. Last time I was at Darlings they didn't open until 6:00 pm because of the crackdown, but don't know if they have gone back to their former opening time of about 4:00 pm.
If the new underground trains are open when you are in BKK, you could take it from Asoke to a point close to Poseidon.
Another option is Barons which is right next to Emporium on the other side of Soi 24 (next to 7-11). This is not a soapy massage, but you can read about it in other threads.

I usually go to both places. Both have a nice selection. You can always go into Darlings and look at the fishbowl, and if you don't see what you want you can just leave.
If you get to Darlings at 6:00 pm sharp you can pretty much have your pick of girls. The selection in the Poseidon fishbowl may not be as large at any given time in my experience.

also the interior is rather low compared to poseidon!

I agree. No way on the whole can Darlings or Barons females compare with Poseidons. yeah, maybe one or two females might be better, but purely %'s, Poseidons got a higher # or looker and hotties then the other two.

I don't disagree with the ratings given, but that's not much difference between Poseidon and Darlings overall. Considering that the guy has his GF with him and has a time constraint, I don't think Darlings is a bad choice. I also think Darlings rates a little higher than Poseidon on average in regard to attitude of the girls.
