as anyone would tell you, it's a bit of hit and miss. i guess it ultimately come down to individuality and the fact that no one is exactly alike. i've had both and i must say that the memorable ones are the ones that treat you like you're special. i still remember those to this day!

There are so many girls working in MP's that there are bound to be some good and some not so good, and some damned poor.
So you should try to shorten the odds by, as chrisboy says, trying to chat to the girl first. if it doesn't feel right then change. help from the Papasan is very useful so a small tip, 200 baht up front might work well for you.
If I am wanting that special evening, I work on the bars or disco's where you can really check out the " chemistry" before making a choice.

dave u r right. i too will check out the bars and discos if i wanna a special evening. i got some really good company from the go-go girls when i was new to the BKK scenes. they brought me around and never had any intentions to rip my $$. what i spent was just some drinks and a nice supper. i was still seeing these girls then, everytime i visit BKK. but that was years back, and i really miss those friendly and wonderful girls. but word of advise to all, choose your target properly..don hit on too many of them, or u will be branded a "Butterfly". regards.
